I am not thrilled with the fit of this brace. It digs into the base of my thumb and actually causes more pain. The material is too hard.

The brace is made from a thermoplastic material, which is designed to soften slightly over time with regular wear and body heat, allowing it to better conform to your hand. This is the third set I am getting I lost the first one and I would like to keep one at my work and one at home. They offer great support to my thumb joint.

The instructions for measuring to order the correct size were clear. It arrived on time and the instructions for applying it were clear as were the instructions for cleaning it. It keeps the thumb joint protected but allows enough movement to permit activities of daily living. It's really well designed.
