What we collect
- When you write a review: your name, email address, optional city and state, your ratings and the text you write.
- To fight abuse: a one-way, salted fingerprint of your IP address, stored with your review. We do not store the IP address itself.
- When you browse: our servers keep standard technical logs (pages requested, browser type, errors) for a short time to keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To publish your review after moderation.
- To detect fake, duplicate or coordinated reviews.
- To contact you about your review, if a moderator needs to.
- To answer you when you write to us.
What is public
A published review shows your first name and last initial, the city and state if you gave them, your ratings and your text. Your email address and IP fingerprint are never shown to anyone outside our moderation team, including the company.
Some reviews were first published on other review platforms and show the reviewer’s name as it appeared there. To have one removed here, contact us with a link to the review.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that host and run the site for us, under contract, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep reviews and the details that go with them for as long as the review is on the site, and moderation records for as long as we need them to prevent abuse. Server logs are deleted after a short period.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete a review you wrote. Write to us from the email address you used, so we can confirm the request is yours. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, such as California, have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone.
