Zippy Do Dah! Our Vote Is for Zipsea Travel! Outstanding Service, Incredible Savings, and a Travel Agency That Truly Cares! My wife Diane and I spent nearly a year planning what was supposed to be a wonderful anniversary trip to Australia and the South Pacific. Unfortunately, about a month before our departure, I developed a heart condition, and my cardiologist strongly advised against taking an extended cruise where access to a heart specialist could be limited. But let me start at the beginning. We discovered Zipsea Travel through CruiseCompete, a website that allows travelers to compare cruise prices and, perhaps even more importantly to us, onboard credits (OBC). From our very first contact with Winn and his team at Zipsea, we knew we were dealing with people who genuinely cared about their customers. They took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, researched the best available cabins, and explained why certain locations and decks might be better choices than others. Their knowledge, patience, and attention to detail were exceptional. Then, about three months before our cruise, Winn contacted us with a suggestion. By moving to a different deck and cabin, we could enjoy accommodations that he felt were every bit as good as our original selection. The result? A $3,000 refund from Celebrity Cruises! Now, that was certainly a wonderful anniversary gift! And it happened because Winn continued looking out for our best interests long after we had made our original booking. Unfortunately, our plans took an unexpected turn when my heart condition developed. My cardiologist provided a letter explaining why he felt it would be medically unwise for me to be at sea for such an extended period without access to specialized cardiac care. I forwarded that letter to Winn, and he immediately went to work contacting Celebrity Cruises on our behalf. The result was nothing short of remarkable. Rather than losing our cruise investment or having to go through the lengthy process of filing a travel insurance claim, Winn arranged for Celebrity to move our booking to another cruise next year, with only a $200 change fee. Think about that for a moment. We were facing the disappointment of canceling a trip we had planned for nearly a year, along with the financial concerns that come with such a cancellation. Winn stepped in, handled the situation, and found a solution that worked beautifully for us. My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the world and have dealt with many travel agencies over the years. I can say without hesitation that we have never experienced a higher level of personal service than what Winn and his staff at Zipsea Travel have provided. And if outstanding service isn't enough, their onboard credits are among the most generous we have ever encountered in the cruise industry. In today's world, where genuine customer service sometimes seems to be disappearing, it is refreshing to find a company that doesn't just book your vacation and move on. Zipsea continues working for you, looking for opportunities to save you money and standing beside you when unexpected problems arise. Would we recommend Zipsea Travel? Absolutely, without hesitation!
