With more than $18B in funded loans and 50,000+ projects nationwide, Kiavi is one of the nation’s largest private lenders to residential real estate investors (REIs). Kiavi harnesses the power of data & technology to offer REIs a simpler, more reliable, and faster way to access the capital they need to scale their businesses. Formerly known as LendingHome, Kiavi is committed to helping its customers revitalize the approximately $25 trillion worth of aged U.S. housing stock to provide move-in ready homes and rental housing for millions of Americans across the country. Traditional lenders rely on human decision-makers and paper-based processes. At Kiavi, our modern tech platform removes many traditional barriers, automates time-consuming manual steps and provides quick decisioning and true transparency throughout the entire process. With a wide range of bridge and rental funding options to choose from, Kiavi’s team of experts can create a personalized solution for our customer's investment strategy. Homeownership has always been an important part of American life. But now, just as Millennials are hitting the peak age for buying their first homes, fewer new homes are being built. In fact, today there are 33%1 fewer new homes constructed than just 15 years ago. Over 65 percent of the U.S. housing stock is more than 30 years old and in need of upgrading and renovating. And as the demand for move-in-ready homes continues to grow, residential real estate investors are needed more than ever. Kiavi is committed and proud to support today’s real estate investors in their efforts to revitalize these aged homes and provide move-in-ready homes and rental housing. NMLS ID #1125207.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Kiavi. We truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback and are thrilled to hear how much you enjoy working with us.
One of the most inefficient lending teams I have ever encountered. Matt, Kevin, and especially Christ-y cannot seem to get their act together. No matter how many voicemails I leave for her, I never receive a call back. The settlement documents were not provided until I arrived at the title company to sign. That was when I discovered they had included a “buydown point fee.” Who in their right mind would buy down the interest rate on a hard-money loan? When I tried to contact the team, Kevin was on vacation, Christ-y was of course unreachable, and customer service appeared to be operated entirely by AI. Now, they cannot fund the loan, preventing me from closing on the property. This was my first and last time working with Kiavi. Fellow investors, beware. Look into other options, such as Capital Fund 1 or Frank West Capital. My experiences with them have been much smoother—they are professional, responsive, and actually reachable.

We appreciate you sharing this feedback regarding your experience with our team. Responsiveness is a pillar of our service, and it is clear we did not meet that standard here. We also strive for total transparency regarding our loan terms, as we understand how critical these figures are to your project's ROI, and we are taking your comments seriously as we continue to refine how we present our financing options so every investor feels fully informed and confident throughout the process. We sincerely apologize for the delay you experienced, and we are reviewing our internal underwriting workflows to ensure we deliver the speed and reliability our investors expect. At Kiavi, we are committed to empowering investors with the best tools and capital possible, and we take feedback like yours as a serious opportunity for growth.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with the Draw team at Kiavi. I was pleasantly surprised by how seamless and efficient the entire draw process is. A special shoutout to Jackie Bracale, who was extremely helpful and provided incredibly timely responses and feedback. Keep up the excellent customer service, Kiavi

Kiavi is great, their portal is really easy and transparent to navigate. But what made the whole experience is better and stress free was working with Justin Reyes. He really made the whole process significantly seamless and stress free. I did not have to worry because Justin was on top of everything! Could not say enough about Kiavi and especially Justin. I only want him working in my deals! 10/10 for Justin

I’ve worked on a lot of real estate transactions over the years, and Zak Marra and the team at Kiavi were excellent. The process was efficient, communication was clear, and we closed our investment property extremely quickly with no surprises or last-minute issues. In this business, execution matters, and Zak delivered exactly as promised. Highly recommend him and Kiavi to other real estate investors.

From the moment I initiated the process of the loan, I was being helped in each step till it was done and closed. Neil was my point of contact and he was very helpful.

Kiava is a nightmare to deal with. They delayed my settlement 3 times. The loan processor didn't know what he was doing. He kept asking for docs that were sent a week prior. The delay caused friction with the seller. I'm not using Kiavi again. Be aware that they don't honor their closing date. Furthermore, they will have you working with several people at once and none of them are on the same page half the time.
