This app caught my eye. I was so excited and thinking that I had a chance at funding. I was very disappointed to know that I was not approved. I think items a wonderful app still just wish I knew more why I wasn't approved. Thanks for all the people you all help!!!

Started off a refinance well, with good engagement and taking time to discuss the various options and tradeoffs. Unfortunately there were long delays through the appraisal process that cost us a lot of money and Kiavi took zero responsibility for its 3rd party contractors performance. The well known real estate concept ‘time is of the essence’ was not followed and hurt our business.

Seemed pretty good but the fee just to receive a draw is what has me done with this company. It's an app, nobody came out, charging $200!

Dealing with the loan analysts was a nightmare. The appraiser messed up and said my units were non conforming. The loan analysts kept asking for a burn down letter which is NOT a federal form so there are no standards. The final loan analyst I spoke with sent me a copy and paste message from chatgpt with a link to a city in Nevada. My property is in Indiana! It felt like no one at Kiavi actually wanted my business except for Clay Johnson, my initial point of contact. He stepped up and we were able to figure out what document from the city would satisfy underwriting. I like Kiavi in all other ways, but if you have a snag good luck finding someone who wants to help. I do want to give a shout-out to Clay for stepping up because I was ready to take my business elsewhere.

it got done so that's the main thing. I didn't have one main person handling my deal like in a regular loan. Each one handled a different aspect which when explained to me who did what was unclear. When i had questions on the day of settlement, which in Maryland is a drop dead date, time of the essence after which date we're out of contract & need an extension or they could sell it to someone else, i couldn't get in touch with anyone and when I finally did they said that wasn't their department and said he knew nothing about how the fixup money was handled. So I was signing cold, having no explanation or a copy of the agreement i had to sign with no review. Honestly i thought who i thought was my main contact was an AI. Just no human communication skills. This was my first deal using u so now I pretty much know how it works. But in future deals I would still like to know who i contact with questions. In the flipping game there is not much time if u want to be competitive so responsiveness is paramount, thanks for the money cause my mother said it doesn't grow on trees & then I found the Exotic Kiavi Tree.

I did not like how certain material facts regarding the mortgage were not disclosed before closing.

I recently completed my first closing with Kiavi and found the experience to be quite difficult. Communication was lacking throughout, and my closing date and time were changed multiple times without clear explanations. It was frustrating not being able to get timely or accurate information from the Kiavi team and the assigned analyst. This not only created stress for me but also caused inconvenience for my realtor and closing attorney, who had to constantly adjust their schedules. I hope Kiavi takes steps to improve their coordination and client communication moving forward.

We missed closing by three weeks. That is a 75% overrun on the projected timeline. The appraiser delayed things considerably, but I didn't get the impression that Kiavi was pushing them to keep things moving.
