I have used IPSwitch desktop FTP client software for about twenty years, and have always been very happy with it. This last purchase was a replacement copy of version 12 for me, having had to reinstall Windows. After my data restore, I could not locate my original copy and could not download another. After a new purchase, the software cannot be downloaded without joining the IPSwitch user club, and unfortunately I could not get the sign-up page to submit with any browser -- the form is not complicated, nor the button difficult to click. After a service email and phone call, the next business day a support representative created a profile for me and all was well. It remains that after I buy something I want it delivered. I do not prefer to have to join a user group in order to receive the goods.

An easy, intuitive way to handle file transfers, particularly when there are multiple sites involve.

I hate to give Ipswitch and WS_FTP Pro a negative rating--since this is the 4th license I've purchased--but after weeks the product is still unusable. It's on a Dell laptop less than 45 days old, running the newest version of Windows 10 64-bit and the latest version of McAfee LiveSafe. Can download, but can't upload anything. Every vendor is pointing to others as the problem. The result, as a small web developer, is that I have to leave this PC and use a 4-year-old model to upload anything at all. Not good.
