I am registered in sun power and since on thw 20th the system has been down, I can't view my account, I can't withdraw I can't do anything. What is going on pls . Sun power should kindly respond to this, it's very horrible. My registration number: 07088597976 and my other brother 09026312436. Pls kindly review it

I purchased my first home and i took over the sun power agreement 3 months ago and the nightmare started. Once u sign the deal u r screwed. they know that u are hooked 15 or 30 years and they dont care at all if u have issues. I suppose to not have any electric bill and my last 2 month bill was over $400 plus sun power monthly payment. One of my unit doesnt work. I tried every way to contact them and no solution at all. Again they know u r paying the money and dont care. Did open a case send so many emails. Talked few person they suppose to schedule service weeks ago and no luck. I did read the reviews online and looks like everyone has the same problems. If i can cancel it i will do it today. I am stuck 15 years with this guys all ready talking to lawyer and see what my options are. I cant imagine next 15 years dealing with this customer service that doesnt do anything. I did sign up first day to Auto Payment and had issues with that too. Its sad that this companies can hook u up for decade payment and can gate away w this. its simple if u cant fix your product dont sell it. Now i have to pay electric bill plus sun power bill. Whats the point having solar in this case?

After reporting a problem to Sunpower about my system no communicating properly to the system, because of possible loss of Internet connection because I changed my Internet provider, all I got from Sunpower so called specialist is a phone call saying they assigned a case number. I send email, called almost every day but to no avail. Sunpower, Please help.

Horrible customer experience. After a long almost 3 months of follow up sunpower agreed to issue a refund check for the elapsed production due to the mistake they made during installation of panel.. but now the issued check was on wrong name, and trying to get this corrected, but NO response.. SunPower was a wrong choice unfortunately.

Edited after Sunpower response 9/21/22: the PC has never reached out to meet until a few hours ago. There was someone that reached out to discuss and promised follow ups a month or so ago, but when those promises came empty I reached out to that individual I received an auto-reply that he was no longer with the company. We chose Sunpower to install solar on our home after an exhaustive research process. Their system was 10-15% more expensive than others, but decided to go with them due to warranty reasons, the likelihood they would be in business the full term of warranty, and the perception that they were more professional than the others and the install would be more pain free. We could not have been more wrong. From the onset, the design and site survey process was delayed and our system was put into service nearly a full two months after the initial projection. Along the way, they drilled into a live main gas line while installing supports to the roof, while my family was in the house and my daughter was playing right below. The line could have easily sparked and caused an explosion. We were evacuated by the fire department for most of the day into 110 degree heat without accommodation from Sunpower. After the system was installed, there were a host of workmanship issues that Sunpower only fixed after a month of back and forth and tons of time spent on our side. Sunpower also promised compensation as an act of good faith to make the gas line incident right, which we are going on 2 months without response from Sunpower. Our monitoring panel and app also show the system is not producing despite being put into operation on 9/13.

Such a bad and frustrating experience with SunPower!!! I trusted them in the beginning when I signed the contract with them. That was late February 2022. I kept myself out of this since then as I trusted that the project coordinators would take care of the project as I trusted the company. I received some updates every other week but then no more updates since May. I reached out and they told me the installation will start in late July. I guess it's normal waiting time. I accepted it. They then told me someone cancelled their appointment so I could get panels installed in June. I thought I was lucky and was very happy about that. They got the installation done in late June and told me that the inspections would be the last steps. After that, no updates again. The project coordinators haven't been responsive, either phone call or email. His supervisor is not responding either. I had to call the sale person I signed the contract with to get the status update. The final steps took 3 months and finally were done yesterday. Now they told me that that's not the final step. Eversource will need to come to install a meter. I asked them to call Eversource to schedule it. But still no updates. I regret doing business with SunPower. Not sure if people there do not get paid enough or what, but they are not working as professionals. Go find some other Solar companies as SUNPOWER SUCKS.
