As noted by other users, the RainPOS has so many glitches that the developers just don't seem to care about fixing - and make things difficult and time consuming for me, the consumer. Customer history that's more than 2 years old? No. Items with varients ordered alphabetically or numerically? No. DIscontinued stock items deleted? No (they stay in the system FOREVER). Do your research; use another platform.

Been on Rain since 2022, it's ok, in a general sense, but there are huge issues with their reporting, tax handling (We are in Canada) and lack of responsiveness. The support people are fine but don't know anything, don't run checks to confirm what you report. Rain has no interest in fixing little quirks. Their special order module is a nightmare constantly creating errors. Reports are so limited, you can't compare yr over yr and just recently one of their reports stopped going back past June 11th. Been over a week. Could be good but just isn't.

The support during onboarding was amazing except they pushed to get me set up in a very short time frame. I thought this was great except it just meant that when my website went live I didn't get the one-on-one support that I would have gotten had they not pushed to get my site up early. During onboarding I was told that they could support rentals. I took that to mean vacation rentals, but in fact it was for canoes, etc. When I explained what my needs were for the rental portion I was told they could help me with that. The whole reason I switched to Rain POS was to have all facets of my business together in one software. After uploading all the pics, information, and links from my old website and getting online shopping set to go, I found out that they in fact could not support my rental. Along with those major issues, I had multiple problems with printing labels through Rain and the reports for consignor sales were not accurate which caused a big mess. There were many things that happened that seriously impacted the way I do business so I made the decision to go back to Squarespace even though I had taken 4 months to get everything set with Rain POS as far as my products online, making labels for products, and making my online store look how I wanted. It was a HUGE waste of time.

No callbacks when requested from my initial agent. Had to call in each time I needed help and got different agents each time. I terminated this account in August 2023

Support response time is wayyy too long. Also, they cant get anything done for you (me). There are inconsistencies in the reports, reports are poorly thought out and constructed. Screens are poorly laid out. There is a theme, the user can find the info, or do whatever, but its going to require two screens and three reports. Also, feedback goes nowhere

My experience today with the customer serice rep was good but overall my experience with RAIN POS has been bad. The key issue is that the transfer of data to our QB Cesktop hasn't worked propoerly and no one seem to be able to fix it or give us an honest assessment of what to do. Better reminders to clients that need onboarding. Been paying for 3 months of service and the initiation fee with no service yet
