PlottrReviews of plottr.com

I've been using Plottr for about a year and a half now! I find it is very easy to use and its very useful for compiling information and plotting out a story. There are also many resources on hand to help guide you on how to plot a story, which has helped me to more easily lay down a plot I'm happy with. Definitely recommend!

I hate to plot and tend toward being a pantser. This gives me a plan and I love being able to keep track of time, places, etc via tags. I only gave it 4 stars because is a bit pricey for an unpublished author.

Very easy to use, the interface is mostly intuitive. For the things that aren't there are tutorials and tips galore. Moreover, it makes it easy to map out and see my novel and gaps in a visual form. The ability to custom-tag and color-code things makes it much easier to keep track of what's what without having to go into extended descriptions. And when you do need a full description, editing it is easy.

The gain of time in the preparation of a novel is considerable.

This is the best plotting software I've used. It's easy and does the job I need to be done -- outlining.

Plottr is a very useful tool for plotting, outlining, and keeping stories organized. I'm working on a new clean romance series, and Plottr has been essential in helping me develop my characters, keep track of my timeline and what happens in each chapter, as well as making sure I'm following the all-important story arc. I especially appreciate the character bio template to which you can add as many or as few details as you want. Plottr is a great piece of software for both plotters and pantsters. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is somewhat of a learning curve required.

It's been invaluable in keeping track of characters and plot points when working on my cozy mystery series. Instead of having to look back through the books, I can easily find names, places, etc. The tags feature has also been a big help for noting where I want to add formatting special features, eg texts or handwritten notes/letters when I convert my manuscript to Vellum.

If, like me, you need to plan and are the visual type, this tool is ideal for you.
