Hostwinds is refreshing - supportive, not in-your-face with constant reminders, but firm when something IS about to expire. There are others suppliers that are not as thoughtful, and easy to deal with.

Been with these people for 3 years and have no complaints. Performance and uptimes have been excellent. Just provisioned a managed VPS and I needed help twice - both times it was dealt with and sorted almost instantly. Most of the complaints seem to be from people who have chosen the wrong service for their needs, are trying to run something which isn't properly resourced (hey, we all like to save money, but ...), or they have ventured into the unknown hoping they can figure it out. I've been in the game for 25 years. If you select the right service, and you know what you're doing, this crowd is good value for money, reliable, and friendly.
