Within hours I had numerous people respond to my add. I love the background check idea and everyone had references ready when I asked.

My account was removed for no reason with no explanation. I called and lady who answered was very rude and gave me no information. Horrible practices. The service I received from Care.com was very poor. I signed up and listed an ad for a nanny and before I could respond to one of the applicants I got an email that my account had been removed and was given no explanation. I called the customer service number and rep was very defense and rude basically reading off a script just telling me they don't have to have any reason or tell me why account was removed....not helpful. My wife and I had heard many good things about care.com from friends and family and were hoping to utilize the services but cannot for some reason unknown to us. Care.com provided us poor service in my opinion by removing account and giving us no explanation as too why.

What a relief this site has been . As a working freelancer one of the biggest strains is finding good casual childcare help that you trust and depend on. The care.com site makes it easy and relieves a lot of the pressure .thanks

We reached out to 12+ members on care.com that claim they respond within 1 or 2 days and only ONE person replied in 2 weeks. Even worse, We've seen some of the people online that we wrote messages and were simply ignored. The care.com community has gone downhill. Sad to see people want work but can not take the time to reply to a request.

Wonderful, MH! It will be hard to pick but it's a great problem to have :)
I was still trying to decide which plan to purchase, and my credit card was charged before I had fully decided and approved the purchase – I don't know how that happened! Then, the one ad I placed received only one reply, from someone who didn't even reply when I replied to her. I placed the same ad on craigslist for free, and got dozens of qualified applicants. This was a complete waste of money. What a mistake!

My Care.com experience has been very positive. I was hesitant to subscribe to the monthly service at first, but after browsing the site with a free account, I felt more comfortable paying the monthly fee to get access to more features. I think its a great resource for finding care as I was able to hire a great babysitter for my daughter. I highly recommend checking out the site before subscribing in order to compare it with other alternatives for hiring care.

It's a great way to preview profiles and post a job to see who is available and interested near you. We're happy that you were able to find a great babysitter on the site!
I love care.com. It is the only site I use to hire nannys. This last year I have become increasingly frustrated with the price increases and the changes in the way the sight is run. Often the website is slow. I would give it a Better rating because it is easy to use and I have found several nannies through this site.
