Care.com App is great . But today is not easy and fast enough to find job opportunities like it was a year ago or so. A lot of people apply for job without any certification or trainings. When you are educated caregiver it is really sad when someone gets job approval but not you. I still feel that care.com is the best and most popular website.

dont trust this place. they will take your money, the software does not work. then when you try and call for customer service they will hang up on you over and over again. run fast from this company

Care.com does a bad job of protecting the caregivers on the site from malicious, false reviews, that cannot be taken down. Reviews that can be left by jaded people you chose to terminate working with. Even if is because that person created an uncomfortable/unsafe environment for their caregivers to work in. A caregiver cannot respond to a negative review, even if it’s a lie. It takes awhile for customer service to get back to you if you reach out to them and when care.com does get back to you, you’re told to take it up with/reach out to the family or person who left the review. In my case the individual had begged me not to quit several times, offered me more money and cried (manipulation). Then when they didn’t get their way the 3rd time, they freaked out and left me a negative review. I will never again, let someone do that to me. It’s awful that Care.coms only solution is to reach out to that person. Particularly if that person is manipulative and can use a bad review to blackmail a person into doing what they want (working with them again).

I was pleasantly surprised that I got so many responses to the needs I had for taking care of my mom. I wasn't sure what to expect and I didn't want to go through the normal agency stuff. She is 96 and very independent but she needed someone to help her, spend time with her and just be there so she didn't do silly things when family couldn't be there. We found a wonderful person right off and we couldn't be happier. My mom seems very happy and looks forward to her visits. It could not have gone better. Be picky... you have to like the person right off. It's important.

l needed to close my acct but the robot did not accept either of my user names! Furthermore, the bot insisted that l log in BEFORE l could engage in a meaningful dialog with what l suppose would be another bot!

Customer care not understanding of any issues. Very cold and by the script. No empathy and very bad customer service.
