Good base system; much need for imoprovement to minimize user errors in the faceboard option for members, app and the back end. It is NOT user friendly for the app and still pares in comparison to Wodify and other brands. Only reason i havent switched is the amount of work needed to do so.

The software has a lot of potential, but it has many errors and issues with communication with Paysimple for payment processing. If they can iron out all of the kinks this would be an excellent school management software.

I switched from Mindbody to Zenplanner over a year ago. Would I make this decision knowing what I know now? Probably not. There's a few quirks about this program I don't like. Great customer service but an incredible LACK of it. When you call, 9 out of 10 times you get their voicemail and have to wait 5 hours to get a call back. Every time I called in to Mindbody I was speaking with a rep within minutes. And when you go to refund a client you have to ALSO go into the back-end of your merchant processor and refund them that way - once in ZP and again in the merchant processor's end. Also, you have to manually re-activate your members account when they decline. So if a payment declines, once I collect the funds, I have to go into their profile, reset their credit card for billing AND I have to turn auto-pay feature on. A few times this has been missed and I've lost a few pennies - not too pleased about that. I just find with Zenplanner there's always a few more "extra steps" to get stuff done and I get paranoid I'm missing something.

Zen Planner mostly does what it needs to do, however the interface is not easy to use, and not attractive or customizable enough for us to want to show our customers. So we use it on the back end, and despite some bugs here and there, it works overall in managing our gym's memberships.

There are some things here and there that I wish were better, but overall it is a great product and I would highly recommend it to other businesses.
