Worldwide Wholesale Floor CoveringsReviews of worldwidefloors.com

I would definitely recommend them to everyone that was looking for flooring. The installation was flawless. ..they did a fabulous job...I was very impressed.

on 9/18/2012 we bought a tile floor from worldwide lawrenceville. That was all pretty standard. The sales person was very nice. The installer that worldwide provided did such a sub par job that I documented it on film. When my kitchen contractor was trying to put my new kitchen in he couldnt because of the shims that were under the floor causing the floor to have two levels. We had 15 feet of floor that had a hump in it. It was visable to the naked eye. I called worldwide and a manager said they werent responsible for a level floor. I told him the installer put the shims under the tile making it bulge up. He hung up on me. The installer that worldwide sent out took 2 days to install my floor. My licensed kitchen contractor;however, took 3 men 5 days to put in a new floor and its perfectly level without squeeks.Thats what I thought I was paying for at Worldwide. Worldwides installer put my new floor down over the existing floor that was broken up and in pieces. Ive show the pictures and videos to several contractors who have never seen such a horrible job. The worldwide contractor left the glue he used on the floor and it wasnt even what i paid for. It was some off brand that wasnt even for my type floor. Id like to hear from worldwide as ive sent numerous e mails with no responce. Im looking for some kind of compensation. My floor cost just shy of 7000 dollars. Thanks you Steven

great sales department, great technicians

I have been living in my home for over 25 years and with my dogs making a big mess with my carpet it was time for me to change many floors. I came to Worldwide and was greeted by Alex, he was very patient spent a lot of time with me helping me select Armstrong tile for many rooms and Mohawk carpet for my bedroom. The store is beautiful, everyone is very nice. Great experience all around.

I recently finished my basement and went to Worldwide because they had such a large selection of flooring and especially Armstrong flooring in which I was interested. I called before I came because I lived a distance away. (45 mins) Alex Vayenstein answered the phone and told me to come on down and so I did. I was extremely impressed with the store and the beautiful selection of all types of floors. I was originally interested in laminate for my basement but he showed me an engineered hardwood product that could be used below grade and over concrete. I was thrilled. I used it in three quarters of my basement and it is positively stunning. In fact I loved it so much that I am now installing the same type of wood and look (hand scraped Hickory) but in a solid wood product in my family room. Alex spent a lot of time with me helping me make my final choices: floor color, etc. He has a good eye for decor and was extremely personable and professional. I would highly recommend the store and Alex to anyone. (The installers were also very excellent at their job as was everyone else that I delt with at Worldwide,)

Recently I had the pleasure of working with Leah Hill at your Fairfield store. I was not only impressed with her product knowledge but her attentiveness to my needs. Everything was done on time and correctly and she even followed up to see if I was pleased with the final results. A great shopping experience overall which is a rarity these days! Kudos to Ms. Hill and the staff!

First calss all the way!!! Selection, pricing and quality workmanship.

1. Salesperson could at least contacted the customer after completion of the job. 2. Your lead installer and helper personnel shouldn’t just walk into a room and start installing without giving and consideration how the room will look, after laminate strips are laid, especially at the most visible part of the rooms. To me that workmanship and pride your installer needs have with the final appearance of job and not to just get in there complete a job and then leave. 3. My biggest compliant would be in the living room. If my wife wasn’t willing to accept how your lead installer and helper laid out one row of laminate strips, I would have had them come back, lift half of the living room and relay the laminate strips all because of how one row of laminate strips was started and layed. That would have mostly likely cost your store the extra expense to procure one extra box of laminate flooring. Your lead installer and helper needs to pay more attention when laying the laminate flooring from a rear wall to the front of the room where everything is more visible. If you look at the attached two picture of the same area, all your installer had to do was start one rear row a laminate strip a few inches longer and all of the front laminate strips would have been complete strips, instead of one being ½” laminate strip at the end, and is astatically less appealing, although not very visible. 4. The same similar situation is in the dining room, all the lead installer and helper personnel needed to do is pay more attention which side of a room to start from. In my dining room, for example one side has the main traffic flow. However, by starting on the less visible room side, your lead installer and helper left with many more shorter laminate ends, on an area that is more visible and now is astatically less appealing in the room.
