Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we understand your frustration that we were unable to provide the prescription you were seeking. We do want to clarify an important distinction regarding our services. While our telehealth and teletriage services are available nationally and our team supports pet owners across multiple states, our veterinary telemedicine services—including prescribing—are currently available only to customers located in Florida. We do not currently provide veterinary telemedicine or prescribing services to clients located in Arizona. Arizona law does permit veterinary-client-patient relationships to be established electronically when specific statutory requirements are met, and it permits veterinarians to prescribe following an electronic examination subject to applicable state and federal requirements. However, the fact that Arizona permits this practice does not mean that every telehealth provider is required or authorized to offer veterinary telemedicine services in Arizona. Because we do not fall into that category at this time, our team could not legally or appropriately issue the requested consultation for medication. Our obligation is to provide services within the scope of the veterinary professionals and programs we have available in each state—not to issue a prescription simply because another provider may legally do so in that state. That said, our team was still able to offer teletriage and help assess the urgency of your pet’s condition and discuss appropriate next steps, including when an in-person veterinary evaluation or surgical care may be necessary. That support is an important part of our telehealth service and does not require us to establish a prescribing relationship. We also want to clarify that the $39.99 charge is for the telehealth service, not a guarantee that a prescription will be issued. Veterinary professionals must determine whether a particular case is appropriate for telehealth and whether treatment, including medication, can be safely and appropriately provided. We regret that our Arizona service limitations were not what you were expecting. We strive to be transparent about the scope of our services and to ensure that every pet owner receives appropriate guidance and a safe next step for their pet.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I'm sorry for the frustration you've experienced. I understand your disappointment with the guidance you received. While our veterinary professionals can provide information, education, and recommendations, there are situations where an in-person veterinary examination is the safest and most appropriate next step. That said, I'm sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. I also want to apologize for the issues you've encountered trying to cancel your account. I've gone ahead and processed the cancellation for you, and we have refunded your most recent charge. You should see that refund reflected within the next several business days, depending on your financial institution. Again, I apologize for both the inconvenience and the confusion, and I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience.

We're sorry you didn't receive your summary of your call. The interaction shows as sent and does not show in our bounce/rejection reports. Please check your spam/junk folders for an email with "Interaction [251008-000085]" in the subject line, and in a worst case, we'd be happy to try to send it to another email address for you. Please email us at [email protected] if you'd like us to do that for you!
