First time new homeowners and already this predatory company is sending us letters asking to rent out our home to strangers. I’ve had enough of these companies destroying WNC and making it harder for locals to find homes.

Firstly, the outside of the house was filthy, the deck was covered in leaves, spiders and bugs, the combo to get in didn’t work, the grill was rusted and dirty, with old hamburger stuck in the grill, the stove and oven was disgusting…the list goes on….VueStay said in writing they were refunding our CC for the stay…that was 10 days ago, we are refuting the charges…

We got to the property and were not able to get in at first because we found out later that the keypad was broken and only turned 3/4 of the way. Because there was no cell service at the property, we were unable to call for help. After jiggling the lock multiple times, it finally unlocked all the way and we were finally able to get in. Because there is no cell service, we were told there is a landline to use in emergencies. Well guess what? The landline did not work. I used the wifi to WhatsApp my husband and asked him to call to get us help. The next day someone did come and confirmed that the keypad and phone were not working. I’ve been in touch with the company several times since we got home and all they have said is we are sorry you had problems but we are unable to do anything to compensate you for your troubles. I would not recommend renting through them.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We're sorry that you had trouble accessing the property due to the broken keypad and that the landline wasn't working when you needed it. That's frustrating, especially without cell service at the property. We appreciate you letting us know what happened, and we've shared your experience with the team so they can review what occurred and look into it. We're grateful you were eventually able to get inside and settle in.
It has been a horrific experience so far. We booked for a stay this weekend in Provincetown. Well... there is a Nor'eastern and flood warning for this weekend (9/25-9/27/26) and a "significant risk to life and property" for pretty much all of the Cape and Islands this weekend. Provincetown is at the tip of the cape and an average of 12 feet above sea level, and the place is right on the beach. Despite offering to take a credit or switching weekends, they are holding firm in their "policy" to not offer refunds due to weather. No matter what apparently. And now somehow they have canceled our reservation for 4 pm tonight while still insisting that we are not due any refund. So even if we were insane enough to risk traveling there tonight , we would have no actual place to stay. How is that fair or make any logical sense? I will be taking this up with every possible avenue to get our money back. Be warned, people! VueStay gives zero F's about you and your vacations or safety.

We're truly sorry to hear about this situation. A reservation cancellation without clarity on refund eligibility falls short of the standard we hold, and this feedback has been escalated to our leadership and property management team for immediate review. We understand how frustrating and stressful this must be, especially given the weather concerns for your area. Please contact our support team directly so we can work through this with you right away.
I’m the owner of a property and used VueStay for a few stays. I never hear from them, they haven’t paid me for any of the stays, and the lack of responsiveness is infuriating. Not to mention, I showed up to my property after a renter and it was filthy (after they overcharged me for cleaning). Save yourself the stress and go with a local, boutique rental agency. I’m going to be forced to pursue legal action.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We're sorry to hear about the payment issues and lack of communication you've experienced, and we take these concerns very seriously. This falls short of the standard we hold ourselves to, and we've escalated your account to our leadership team for immediate review and resolution. We'd welcome the opportunity to make this right and restore your confidence in working with us.
I asked to move my reservation back 1 day due to a music festival getting canceled due to weather. I would still be paying for 2 nights and the condo is available. They are not allowing me to move the dates. I will never use this company again, this is terrible customer service.

We're sorry to hear that we weren't able to work with you on adjusting your reservation dates. We understand how frustrating that must have been, especially with the festival cancellation. Your feedback about how we handled this has been shared with our team, and we take it seriously. We'd genuinely appreciate the opportunity to make this right with you privately, and we hope you'll give us a chance to do better.
This property "Wine down Cottage" in Union Pier MI: not well maintained. Toilet (MBA) broke on first day and was not fixed during our 5-day stay. Not very clean. Rugs worn and dirty. Other toilet also very old and not sure how long it will work! Dishwasher washes but doesn't dry...... I called/texted every day and was always told they would notify "on-site team"--NO RESULT! DO NOT STAY HERE and DO NOT BOOK WITH VUESTAY!!!!!

We're truly sorry to hear that your stay fell short. A broken toilet that wasn't repaired during your visit, combined with the cleanliness and maintenance concerns you noted, is not the standard we hold our properties to. We're genuinely disappointed that you weren't able to enjoy your time there, and we appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. Your experience has been shared with our property owner, local team, and maintenance crew so they can review what happened and address these issues. We know this doesn't undo your stay, but we want you to know we're taking this seriously.
This was a repeat stay at a property in Fenwick Island. Last year, property management was Vacasa. I gave excellent review of the whole experience. This was an awful experience with poor response from VUE Stay. There was a dead rodent in the kitchen, with droppings noted. The cleaning personnel were on site at our arrival. Multiple calls, communication, texts, pictures sent, and no one came to rectify. They sent an air purifier via delivery truck, in hopes to cover up the offensive smell. There were dirty linens and bedding in the garage. A sliding door that was broken. Trash left in outside receptacle overflowing and not placed in street side containment site.

We're truly sorry to hear about the conditions you encountered during your stay. A dead rodent and droppings in the kitchen falls far short of the standard we hold, and the delayed response to your concerns made it worse. We understand your frustration, especially after having such a positive experience with your previous stay. Your detailed feedback has been shared directly with our property management team, housekeeping, and maintenance for a thorough review of what happened during your visit. We take this seriously and appreciate you taking the time to report it so clearly.
