Unlike traditional chemically coated non-stick pans, our titanium cookware works best with a little butter or oil, especially when cooking delicate foods like eggs. Allowing the pan to preheat properly over low to medium heat also makes a big difference in preventing sticking. Over time the pan performance does get even better as well. Hi Paul, Thank you for sharing your experience! With eggs, preheating the pan properly is especially important. We recommend preheating the pan first over low to medium-low heat, then adding only a small amount of butter or oil and allowing that to heat before adding the egg. That should solve it, and also the non-stick performance of the pan gets better over time. We're happy to hear that overall you're still enjoying the pan. Hi L Fehr, Thank you for sharing your experience! With eggs, preheating the pan properly is especially important. We recommend preheating the pan first over low to medium-low heat, then adding a small amount of butter or oil and allowing that to heat before adding the egg. Titanium heats very efficiently, so on a gas stove, medium heat can sometimes get hotter than expected and actually cause sticking. Try lowering the heat slightly and giving the pan time to preheat evenly — this should make a noticeable difference. We’re glad you like the look of the pan and how quickly it heats, but the handle screws should not require tightening every time, so please reach out to us at [email protected] and our team will be happy to help with that. Regarding sticking, seasoning is only part of the process — proper preheating and temperature control usually make the biggest difference. Once the pan is properly preheated, adding a small amount of oil or butter before the food can produce much better results.
