Love my ThinOptics. I can read my phone and price tags anywhere. People see me take them out/put them on and always ask, "Wow what are those?" I say "ThinOptics - order them online!"

I bought full frame reading glasses. I saw my glasses case one part is cleft from another part when I receive it. I wrote this situation with photo to help desk. They will return to me immediately and sent new one, however, they sent 15% discount coupon.

Hi, Alex. Thank you for leaving us an awesome review! Glad to hear about your experience with our customer service! - Miguel, ThinOptics Social
I purchased a Milano case 14 months ago and it has broken again - for the third time. Warranty is six months, so it appears that my luck is it breaks just after warranty expires. Replacement is $24.95 plus $4.99 shipping and $1.57 tax. Nice deal for them to hook you on a great concept but sell a subpar product that has to be continually replaced.

When I look at 'customer satisfaction', I not only look at how well the product/service meets my needs but, I also look at how the vendor performs when there are issues/problems. I have enjoyed my Thinoptics readers for several years. They meet my needs to not have to always have regular reading glasses when I'm out and about. And, when one of their readers broke, they quickly sent me another pair for $5. Just recently I had a different issue and was considering not buying from them going forward even though I had directed many people to check them out. I reached out to the CEO and he immediately responded. Then, a little later in the day I got a call from one of their specialists. She was able to quickly answer my concern and walked me through getting it resolved. I am now an even stronger advocate of Thinoptics than before.

Hello, Mike. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate hearing from you and I will be sure to share it with our team. - Miguel, ThinOptics Social
Add me to the list of dissatisfied customers regarding warranty. I bought two pairs at Walgreens many years ago. I still have the original packaging that says "So Durable Guaranteed for Life" and "FREE Replacement Glasses Forever". As other reviewers have stated, ThinOptics will no longer honor its guaranty. They replaced my first broken pair (broken nose piece) with their "new and improved" design. Well, that nose piece broke after awhile too. Now they telling me they will only replace the glasses once, not for a lifetime. I am not sure how this is ethical or lawful given the original promise. I have loved the product (in addition to the first two pairs I bought at retail, I've purchased a couple phone cases from their online store). However, next time the glasses break, I'll look for other alternatives. Edited - changed review from 2 to 5 stars based on the company promptly reaching out to me with an apology and adequate resolution.
