This company was magnificent and went above and beyond in what they had to do to help a customer. I have always had positive experiences with them- from the quality of their tea, steep ware, and amazing customer service, this company is top notch!

Fantastic TEA and Fantastic Customer Service. Okay... yada yada; so let me elaborate. Fasten your literate belt - I don't waste time on "great seller" "fast shipper" snippets - let AI handle that ho hum form of too busy to really say how I think mumbles. FIRST: I have been a customer of The Tea Spot a very long time. I have been a TeaFatic many years before I began to order from them and initially relied on what was available in stores and then began to sample the on line market. Even shopped the big chain store tea dealer... wowzer, even though the quality is decent the price is, well, lets just leave it at this - indecent! Not so with The Tea Spot! Quality is at the top of scale of all other dealers in tea, along with selection . I admit after years of tea drinking my preference is pretty straight forward. Started from the innocent and ignorant nubile of my first taste of herbal tea from another Boulder start up years and years ago. That start up was so young the tea came in hand sewed bags! Now on every shelf in major stores. Well, thanks for the introduction but there is so much more to tea than Hibiscus flowers. So now my preference is TEA, or Cha and the dark varieties in particular: straight up or in blends. I shopped a lot places and I can state with absolute certainty The Tea Spot's Pu'er, Oolong, Assam, Black Pearls and blends such as Russian Caravan HAVE NO CONTENDER'S as the BEST TEAS on the market! Yes, I do occasionally purchase the other offers based on my target needs and have never found one that wasn't perfectly blended and exactly as advertised. Big Shout out to Lights Out and Immunity Blends... I do miss the Cold Buster Blend I haven't seen for awhile. I hope I have moved you beyond yada yada and into an interest to give this company's teas a try. There is so much more to say but I will leave you with the most interesting point you may find of value! Be sure and read about the origin and evolution of this business and why it is grounded in real human experience and ethical as well as social perspective. It is truly a remarkable company. The story may not sell the tea to you, but once you sample the tea and the customer service, whether you are a novice or con o sir/she, I am confident you will be glad you have taken my advice. Why Not?

I absolutely love The Tea Spot and I’m so thrilled to have found this site! The teas are exceptional- fresh and well-priced and the customer service is outstanding. I used to order from Teadog.com but had the worst customer service experience imaginable- not once but twice! I now only buy tea from The Tea Spot and I couldn’t be happier to be a loyal customer of this top notch company!

I received a $25 gift card for the Tea Spot. Over the last few months so many things were out of stock, but I finally found some teas to order. There was a pop-up that first time customers received a discount, but when I went to check out it would not accept that promo AND my gift card. Also stated was free shipping over $25. My order was $46.67 and I was charged $5.99 for shipping! Be careful checking out as twice an item "that I might like" was added and I had to go back and delete them. When I did receive the order on March 28, 2026, a card for a discount was included that expires today, March 31, 2026. I haven't tried the tea yet, but I doubt I will be back.

Hi there, thank you for your review. We’d like to clarify a few things about how our checkout process works. Gift cards and promo codes work perfectly together at checkout, and your order actually reflects this: your 20% welcome discount and your gift card were both successfully applied to your order. Gift cards are a payment method, not a discount, so they never conflict with a promotional code. Our free shipping offer required the separate code SHIP25, and as noted on the welcome discount, that offer “cannot be combined with other discounts or promotion codes.” Our checkout page also states directly at the promo code field: “Discount codes can’t be combined. If you enter multiple codes, only one will apply and others will be removed.” Only one promo code can be applied per order, which is standard across nearly all online retailers. We also want to be clear that we never automatically add products to a customer’s cart. The “you may also like” section is a recommendation feature only. Items shown there require you to click “add to cart” before they’re included in your order. No product will be added to your order unless it is a free gift with purchase or you add it yourself. As a small-batch specialty tea company, some of our teas are seasonal or produced in limited quantities, which can mean occasional availability gaps. That’s the nature of sourcing high-quality, fresh, small-lot teas. We hope you enjoy the teas you ordered! If you ever have questions or run into any issues in the future, our customer service team is always happy to help.
After a small mixup with the package delivery, I got in touch with their support. They were super fast at getting back to me and resolving the issue. They were friendly, fast, and supportive. Would use them again just due to how great their customer service was.

I don’t remember a time when a company that was immediately responsive when I had an issue. Once they were made aware of the issue… it was taken care of within 2 days. That’s GREAT customer service!!! And their product is Amazing!!!
