As a diabetic backpacker and outdoor adventurer, I found this device to temperature control my insulin pen very convenient, and hardly added much more weight to my pack. Also, very simple. Not many moving parts to mess with, and no finicky refrigeration hassles.

I wish I had heard about ViviCap before I bought other things that was suppose to help me in my new life style. But I'm so happy that I've found this amazing product. It is so convenient. Just cap your insulin pen and go! You don't have to worry about a thing. I spread the word to coworkers. I've even told my endocrinologist so she can help me spread the word to her patients. I hope it helps them the way it has helped me.

Cap shows red several times? Was on the understanding that it protected from high temperatures?

The cap does protect it in high temperatures and the temperature indicator is there to ensure that this happens. When the red light goes off - All that needs to be done is to return the VIVI Cap to room temperature and it regenerates itself to once again protect your pen. No batteries, no charging.
It is very easy to use! I like the fact that I don’t have to make sure my insulin is cold with ice or ice packs!

Kept my insulin cool in 90+ degree weather while on vacation in Mexico. Not too bulky for everyday use as I prefer the ViVi cap over carrying around an insulated bag with ice packs.

I found out about this great product through social media and did some research. I never knew that my insulin could become unsafe for use due to temperature and humidity. I like how easy and quick it was to set up my pens and now I can enjoy the heat and outdoors with the grandkids all summer long and even in the winter months.

I bought this to be sure my insulin is ok while I live my life going where I want to go. Ice packs are such a pain to deal with, so this is perfect!
