Legacy SunPower Corporation (Out of Business)Reviews of sunpower.com

Warren Grennan made the activation of my Sunpower Solar system a breeze. He was personable, knowledgable, and answered all of my questions. I had a great experience and highly recommend Sunpower for your solar needs, just make sure to ask for Warren!

It has been over 9 months since I begin the process of converting to the Solar system with SunPower. It has been the worst decision I made. I should find a local company but still I expected a company to do what they promised. 38,900.00 worth of glass is in my roof but that is useless. They managed to install the panels quick but after that it is all downhill. System is still not completely installed. I am still waiting for the electrician. One excuse after the other. I have paid over $760.00 in interest on the solar panels loan so far and I have paid over $1500.00 for electricity in the last 6 month. Buyer beware. I see that others are taking their complaints to BBB. I will follow that but that does not solve the problem. I hope future Solar customers can learn from this experience.

Ryan K. was very professional. He was only supposed to inspect our solar, but he also installed a transformer (good thing he had a spare).it was not his job to do it, but he willingly installed it. He did his work above and beyond what he's supposed to. He even explained how the system works and answered patiently all my questions regarding their system. Kudos to Sunpower for having employee's that value their customer's satisfaction. Thank you Ryan K.

I would like to request that Sunpower replace my microinverters with ones that allow me to monitor each solar panel... prior to 2018 when Sunpower came out and replaced my old Microinverters with the ones that are there now. I could see each panel and see what each panel was producing after Sunpower came out I could not

Good experience from Ryan K who helped activate our Sun Power solar panels. Quick set up and great explanation on everything we need to know regarding the solar system.

SunPower technician Ryan Kepp was not only very helpful but was very knowledgeable about solar energy. He assisted my home with activation along with providing me with the best practices to take full advantage of what solar can do for your home. Very satisfied experience with Ryan.

10 Stars for Warren G. the Technician who came and did an "Outstanding job" on activating my system and took the time to show me the system (Apps) functions! He needs to be promoted or at least give him A PAY Raise!!! 1 STAR for SunPower Activation & Scheduling teams. My Permission to Operate (PTO) was approved by SDG&E 15 Feb 2023, I emailed / notified the activation team right away so they can come out and activate my system... guess what? for this team just to schedule my activation date took 6 days (21 Feb 2023) to reply back. The worst is, I was told the next available date for the TECH to come out is not until 9 Mar 2023 @ 10:00am. At this point I don't have much choice but to accept the date & time that was being given. Then 2 days later i rec'd a msg saying they will move my time from 10 am to 2:45 pm so they can accommodate activation on more houses... this is fine but why do I have to be the one who has to move up? My overall experiences with SunPower Team is one of those bad dreams period! If given a choice, I would go to different company in a heartbeat! SunPower WASTED almost 1 month of my energy generated by my system!!! These people just don't care... what a JOKE!!!

The service from Dago was excellent but the company itself is not. The reason this is not five stars is because of how long and annoying the process was to get our solar power to start working. Everything was installed and ready but it took this place 3 months to activate it. There was back and forth about providing serial numbers that took several days. The technicians are great but the company needs to do better.
