Easy to find sitters locally and in short order. Rover does all of the vetting and the reviews make it easy to pick a sitter. I especially like the secure communications and ease of paying. I do think an “other” pet button ought to be added for birds, rabbits, hamsters, and small amphibians such as dish, turtles, frogs or lizards.

Booking is easy, the calendars are convenient to view, and responses are always quick. We love all the information the site provides about each caregiver, which makes it easy to find someone who suits our needs. We are especially happy with Marichelle, who takes amazing care of our dog. Thank you for providing such a great service!

Heather B. Cannock - Aug/Sept 2026 5/5 Stars – Absolutely Fabulous Dog Sitter! 🐾 We recently left our beloved brother and sister Lhasa Apsos, Ralphie and Cassie, with Heather while we were away on holiday, and we could not be happier with the care they received. Lhasas are notorious for their strong family bonds, and we were quite anxious about how they would cope with the separation. Heather was absolutely patient and fabulous with them. She understood their sensitive nature immediately, creating a calm, reassuring environment that made them feel completely safe. Her gentle approach completely managed their separation anxiety, and she went above and beyond to keep them settled, happy, and loved. It provided us with total peace of mind knowing our fur-babies were in such capable, warm, and understanding hands. We highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a truly dedicated and patient pet sitter. Thank you so much, Heather!
