I have consistently had reliable sitters for my dog.

Rover you all send me constant emails and texts. You are too noisy. I gave the Pet Sitter 5 stars, which Brian absolutely deserves. I wrote a review. That should be enough. Please quiet down.

It’s probably me but I have difficulty finding my bookings, and I m confused with text emails then I go to the River app and see more ie pics. Otherwise the people I have dealt with are reliable and awesome

James is a kind professional. He is very knowledgeable & considerate when caring for & walking my doggo. He allows me to ask questions and is patient. I’d recommend James to everyone!

We found Samantha and Anthony on your website and Sandra our Cocker Spaniel enjoyed staying with them while we were on vacation. We were kept updated daily with pictures showing our pet was in great hands. We will book again with the same sitters.

The website is pretty easy to use and navigate, and I liked the assurance of privacy with the pet sitter using their app to communicate and that they have insurance if something goes wrong while you are away. Unfortunately we did not have the greatest experience with the individual pet sitter and rated her 2 stars. I am a bit confused to see that despite the review showing up on my end as submitted, it still does not show up on the pet sitter's public profile over a week since I sent it in. I want other users to see my review and not just the 5 star reviews that give a biased view of the sitter's responsibility. It doesn't make sense that almost all the sitters in the area have 5 stars. That seems pretty unrealistic to me, and given this experience I will hesitate to trust any reviews on Rover.

A friend recommended the Rover app when she was unavailable to watch my 80 lb Gordon Setter for a few days. I had a bad experience with a kennel about 10 years ago, so I was apprehensive about trusting our pup with someone we don't know. After some due dilligence exchanging messages with a few potential sitters, we found a GREAT private home that we felt could be trusted. It was a stressful decision but we are happy (and relieved) to report that everything went perfectly. The rates were less than a proper kennel and the attention was much better. Five stars.
