Thank you for the review, Casey. We always love when we here assembly went well. Hope your girls continue to love their Backyard Coop for years to come. Thank you for your business!
The Roost and Root team answered all of my questions promptly before my order and delivered our stand up, roll top coop on time. This is my second coop purchased from Roost and Root over the years and I highly recommend them. Their coops are top quality cedar, with quality hardware, and assembly is relatively easy. All of the parts were marked clearly and everything fit together nicely. Our family, and especially our chickens, are very happy with our new Roost and Root coop!

Thank you for your order, Allison. Hope you are enjoying your GrubCone!
I was having issues with racoons in the coop I had. I purchased a Heritage Coop from Roost & Root. The installation was pretty easy as we followed the instructions that came with it. It is very good quality and strong and they include everything you need to make the chickens comfortable and safe. It was a great purchase!

Thank you for kind words, Yvette. We are glad to hear that you are pleased with your Model 30 Heritage coop. When you birds are safe we are happy! You should not have any raccoon issues now that you have our coop. We'd love to see a picture of your set up if you ever have a moment to share it with us. We can receive pictures at [email protected].
Above and beyond customer service. Super knowledgeable and professional. Cannot thank you enough.

Thank you, Mr. Caffee. We were grateful for you patience and understanding while we worked through the damage from the shipping company. I'm glad we were able to work through inventorying the parts and getting you what your needed ASAP. Hope the new Walk-In Coop is doing well and that your birds are happy! We'd love to see a picture if you ever have a moment.
Several of the pieces were unmarked which made some of the assembly a bit trickier. Additionally some of the instructions were a bit unclear and we ended up having to revise some areas (flip them around). Thankfully we did not have to entirely disassemble to fix it. The roof also did not have holes that worked/ matched with the wood attachments and the layers of metal and their fasteners didn’t make a lot of structural sense. Additionally the quality of wood was a little less desirable than previous purchases, splintered more easily (I bought this for my daughter and she has made three prior purchases through roost and root- greenhouse, smaller coop, smaller walk in coop.) once built it looks great and the chickens love it but I will say the process was not as streamlined as in the past.

Thank you for leaving this review and for your continued business. We are happy to hear that your coop is together and that it looks great now that it is finished. The rest of the review is disappointing to hear. Your coop was built in the same batch, by the same people, with the same lumber as the customer that reviewed us just after you. I'm surprised and sad their experience with the Walk-In Coop was so much different. When the coops get bigger the construction tends to get more complex. The Walk-In Coop has a capacity that is 4 times larger than the smaller walk in coop you mentioned. It's a structure that is seven feet tall and over over 75 square feet. We simplify the build as much as we possibly can, but there is not question it is not as simple as our smaller model coops. The details of a coop are always more intricate than a greenhouse because of the fact that we are designing them for living creatures. The assembly is more complex as well. I would love to chat more with you about the confusion in the instructions and which pieces were not labeled. I am going to reach out to you personally via e-mail to continue the conversation. I hope you will still consider us in the future. Please know that we make ourselves extremely available to our customers via our support line. We have all been doing this for over a decade and we are highly skilled at assisting people through assemblies. Thank you again for your business and I hope we get to talk more about your experience.
Best customer service and my chickens love it!
