Company has gone downhill. Just horrible to deal with over the last few years. Crazy high prices and don't get me started about the customer service. Just horrible. Look at the stock price that will tell you all you need to know about this once decent company

Formerly a great company. I just left them after 15 years. Massive price increase that's several times more than competitors. Services and support has also dropped. Tech support helped me add mail boxes easily but neglected to advise me that it would increase my bill 400%. When I cancelled, I still had to pay a month in advance! No pro-rated credit. I'm now with Rebel, a Canadian company paying 80% less for more services and room for expansion. I feel cheated and scammed. Avoid!

Do NOT work with this POS company. They are scummy as can be. We had them hosting our DNS and they shut us out, unannounced and would not allow us access so we had to transfer to another provider which caused unnecessary down time and site being down for about 24 hours.

Rackspace doesn't even deserve 1 star. After being a long time loyal customer for 12 years - THAT'S A DOZEN YEARS! 1-2! Rackspace more than doubled what they were charging our small company with just 30 days notice. They didn't even have the common courtesy to discuss this matter over the phone as we tried to transfer to another product of theirs. It was virtually impossible to get any response from someone operating in the U.S. Their so-called "Customer Service" was unwilling to listen and unable to explain why the charges skyrocketed. ZERO customer loyalty whatsoever. In order to keep services at the same rate they explained the only thing we could do was to sign a 2-year contract. Are they even going to be around in a month when treating their customers this way? We are a tiny operation and helped build them up by being a loyal customer for 12 years and this is the thanks we get? Utterly disgusting. Was SUPER HARD to cancel as well - they should be investigated. They cannot justify the exorbitant rates they are charging. They make you sign a cancellation agreement and then take days to verify your cancellation all the while still continuing to charge you!! It's reprehensible! We switched to AWS for 1/10th the price (no joke!) of what Rackspace was charging. It just started to feel like a scam without any communication.They have no clue how to run a company and take care of loyal customers. What a shame we trusted them for 12 years!! NEVER do business with Rackspace. It has been the most disappointing tech company we have ever dealt with. How can they improve? First, pick up the phone. Second, charge FAIR pricing for your services. Third, be reasonable when a legacy client who has paid your company literally thousands of dollars reaches out! Oh and give back the HOURS of our company's time that was lost trying to communicate with you! HORRIBLE!

Been overcharged on mailboxes for years despite removing them from my quota. Only noticed when the price per Rackspace email tripled recently. Raised it with support; couldn't understand their operator, as they were working from home with a baby talking down the phone and the same time. Just not good. I don't believe I have ever written a bad review until now.

Awful, awful company now. 30 minutes on the phone to pay a bill. I had to phone because their billing system would not accept my card. They did not claim on the Direct Debit. And now, after yet more problems, even after phoning and supposedly paying my bill, I receive a call from my bank's fraud team. That sums it up.

Shadow of what they once were - bottom line - I've been a customer for over 10 years and this year have given up. We are migrating all services away from Rackspace. Don't touch them for ANY service. 100s of better options. I don't see Rackspace being here in a few years if this is the level of service they're going to now for long-standing customers.

Horrendous business practices and customer service. Rackspace had hosted our email for decades via a marketing company. That company advised us that due to changes at Microsoft, our email would no longer be supported and we needed to establish our own direct link with Rackspace and then migrate the old email account(s) to the new account(s). They happily billed us every month but lacked the ability or skill to migrate the email accounts. We were not the administrator(s) on the old email accounts so had no power in the migration process. They do have a polite support team that was not helpful to us. We are on the West Coast and they seem to have East Coast Hours. It's extremely difficult to reach anyone there who knows what they are doing. So much frustration with Rackspace! When we finally gave up they would not speak with us directly. Claimed our phones were not working. When we requested full refund for the wasted time not being able to use the new Rackspace email accounts. They refused a full refund. How can they improve? 1. Listen to your customers! 2. Identify all hurdles to success. Remove them. 3. If you cannot successfully provide the service your customer is paying for... DO NOT CHARGE YOUR CUSTOMER FOR THE TIME WHERE YOU (Rackspace) FAILED TO PROVIDE THAT SERVICE.
