I am writing to inform you of a horrific customer service issue at the Lawrenceville, NJ location: I recently took my mom for blood and urine work requested by her doctor. Apparently the doctor’s office did not send the paperwork and I had to call them from the Quest location to request they fax it. Twice they faxed it and twice the staff told me they did not receive it. I ended up going home and printing it, leaving my mom at this facility to endure the harassment. Meanwhile my mom, who is 93 and diabetic had fasted to provide the blood work. Her appointment was 9:30 and she was not able to eat. Because the paperwork was not there the technician had me call the doctor’s office twice to request they send it. The technician was not supportive and my mom became upset they she would have to return at a later date to complete the testing. As you can imagine a 93 year old with diabetes and having no food since the night prior - no wonder she became upset. The stress made her have a bowel movement in their bathroom. Because of this the other technicians were walking up and down the hallway making rude comments about the odors and the fact that my mom had been in the bathroom for sometime. My mom was so embarrassed and kept apologizing to her technician, all the time crying. They essentially made her feel terrible, like dirt. I was so upset my mom had to experience this behavior from a patient focused medical facility. I’m sure they’ve dealt with seniors before and I would hope they have not treated others this way. I am posting this so others do not use this facility and risk being exposed to this type of customer experience. We will never use this Quest Diagnostics facility again. I feel so sorry for my mom. She should never feel like this ever again. I am also disappointed your staff did not express more sensitivity to a senior individual. Perhaps sensitivity training is in order at this location. I would hope at least a call to the facility from the corporate office. But reading the other reviews it doesn’t look like leadership intervention works either. I had to give it a star to proceed with my review. I would them zero stars if I could. I should have read the prior reviews before taking my mom there.

Worst company customer service and automatic voice menu ever. You can never get to a real person and I've tried different ways and many times for 45 minutes but could not get to an operator or a real person. It also doesn't understand simple alphabets when I gave it the code. Waste of my time and I will not recomend this company ever.

My experience is based on a visit to 1050 NW 14th St in Miami, FL for extremely poor management of appointments and people's time. I had an appointment for 11:45 and did not have my tests done until 12:45. I was shocked that I would have to wait an hour after my appointment was scheduled. Apparently I was one of the "lucky ones" because the man next to me had an appointment for 10:30 am and was still waiting at 12:30 to be seen. You should be ashamed of yourselves, making this man wait 2 hours to get one simple test when he made an appointment in advance. There was also someone there who was just dropping off samples, and they told him he had to wait just to drop off the samples. I saw him waiting for at least 30 mins. This is completely unacceptable. There is no proper receptionist or person who even greets you when you walk in. It's obvious the people that work in this clinic have had zero customer service training whatsoever. No one even apologized to me for having to wait so long. I can see from their google reviews that this has been going on for quite sometime, but no one has improved the situation. I will be certain to never visit a quest diagnostics center again, due to this extremely negative experience.

I set up appointment online with Quest for 9:15 am. I was called in within minutes. I have found that making all my appointments early in the morning before the day gets busy is always the best way to ensure prompt service no matter where your appointment is. Do the right thing. My experience was 100% awesome.

I rarely write negative reviews. Mostly, I write reviews to support good businesses and services. But I was treated so badly by the staff at the Century Plaza branch that I felt compelled to warn others. This place is a complete toilet. The place is a dingy hole in the wall. Hand written signs assault your view before you even enter, commanding you to put on a mask(!!!). Then you are not greeted by the staff sitting literally at the front entrance, but instead you are accosted with demands for confirmation of your appointment, and then dismissed when you ask a question. I went here before the pandemic, and it was ok. But it has plummeted into an abysmal state, with rude, even abusive (and by extension, incompetent) staff. To us the consumer, Quest is who they hire to represent them, and who we encounter there. According to this measure, this is a service to be avoided.

Complete incompetence. Not the first time Quest claimed they did not have the electronic lab request from the doctor. I called the doctors office while still at Quest to verify, they said verified and also asked for the Quest site facsimile number to send again. The rude Quest employee blew me off. I left. Quest you lost two more customers because of your incompetence and terrible customer service. I will make sure I tell as many people as I can about this and recommend to go to Lab Corp.

honestly i never met a lady any more rude then this one thats working here in sykesville eldersburg md she really is the meanest person and i could not stand her i aint over reacting ether i hope she gets fired ! you dont need to work here if ur unhappy with ur job its friday june 18th at 3-00 in the afternoon

When a business states that it’s open at 7:00 am, you should be able to walk through the door at 7, not wait in line with the employees while waiting for the door to open. The employees at Quest should arrive BEFORE 7 to prepare for those of us who need to get in and out before work. I sat in a waiting room for 15 minutes while we all listened to the banter from the employees in the back room. By 7:20, only two people had been called in. Lots of banter and BS that can be clearly heard in the waiting room. The TV in the waiting room was off, so there was no way to tell how long until your name would be called. There were people that were leaving because they needed to get to work. Painfully slow, and the employees were having a social gathering in the back. Expect a very long wait, especially if you arrive first thing in the morning.
