The app is constantly shutting down. I have many other streaming apps and never have that problem with any of them. I'm currently looking for another streaming service

Philo is the best! Man I was about to pay Cox over 200 dollars to get the networks I can't live without. I heard about Philo carrying TV one which is my favorite.. They offered every channel I needed literally. 30 bucks for Hallmark BET Vh1 MTV HGTV Food Network TV one and ID all for again 30 bucks are you kidding me! God bless the owner of this streaming service! You have saved me so much money . 5 stars isn't enough its a perfect creation for TV lovers. If you paying a cable bill switch to Philo save some money .

The app freezes a lot and sometimes shows that are supposed to be on DVR don't appear. But my main compliant is now since they have added HBO as an add on service, they have locked out certain seasons of episodes that aren't HBO exclusive so you are forced to buy HBO or not have access to all seasons of certain. I bet this practice will continue until those shows will be only available through having HBO access. I will be canceling.

I really would give a zero if you had it I called 3 times to get help with a email that Philo sent me the 1st 2 calls I tried to explain to the representative that Philo sent me a email to do something that I did not understand she told me to ignore the email I could not understand what else she was trying to tell me so I disconnected the call. I called back and I asked the 2nd representative to let me speak to a supervisor so I can make a complaint she stated it would be 30 minutes or more before I could speak to someone so I told her to let me speak to someone in United States she refused, said she could not connect me to someone in United States. So I disconnected the call I call the 3rd time this time I got a man but still out of the country I told him I would like to speak to a supervisor again same problem. I don't understand Philo gets my payment every month on time never missed a payment but I can't speak to someone about my account or the email they sent me I can't speak to someone in United States because I can't understand stand the representative on the call not my fault that they can not speak Good English I am not Happy with the service that I did not get today

Philo has changed the price three times in 3 months! I started paying $25 for several months then it went up to $28 within a month it went to $33 and then within a month it went up to $39 when I called customer service to ask why my prices kept changing then they acted as if it was a mistake. I let go of the app for a while. Months later to revise my plan could not gain access to my account and then found out that they took payment unauthprized when I contacted them they admitted that the payment was unauthorized yet still refuse to refund. This is not the first time that they have unauthorizedly took payment from my account but it will for sure be the last do not get Philo overpriced for little to nothing to watch they will take payment from a locked account so don't think that just by locking your card will keep them from taking your money they still will take it and then refuse to pay it back They Are Thieves

Philo TV delivered one of the most aggressively miserable viewing experiences I’ve ever had the misfortune of enduring. The movie was technically available. That is where the positives end. On a basic browser, there is no fullscreen option. None. Not hidden, not buggy, just nonexistent. So instead of simply pressing a button like every other competent streaming service on the planet, I was forced to stop, download an app, and restart the entire process. Already off to a ridiculous start for something that should be effortless. Then came the real disaster. A 1 hour 10 minute movie. Twelve commercial breaks. Each one over a minute long. That is at least 12 minutes of ads on a 70 minute runtime. Roughly 17 percent of the entire experience hijacked by commercials. And that is being conservative. It felt far worse. It felt like the movie existed only to fill the gaps between advertisements. And these were not quick, tolerable interruptions. These were long, dragging, momentum-killing blocks that ripped you completely out of the film every single time. Just as the movie tried to build any sense of rhythm or immersion, it was immediately gutted and replaced with noise. Worse, the ads themselves were completely out of place. Two separate 35 second gore and horror clips shoved into the middle of a casual viewing experience. No warning. No consideration. Just jarring, unpleasant nonsense that made the entire thing feel cheap and careless. And somehow, on top of that, the targeting made no sense. Repetitive, irrelevant ads that felt like they were pulled from a completely different audience profile. It added another layer of irritation to something already unbearable. Even if these commercials had been 15 seconds, there would still have been too many. But stretching them past a minute each crosses into pure disrespect of the viewer’s time. By the end, I was not watching a movie. I was enduring a sequence of interruptions loosely connected by fragments of a film I could no longer care about. Any enjoyment was completely drained, replaced by frustration and impatience. This is not just a bad streaming experience. It is a broken one.
