Actually one of few who did get an upgrade. However, it came with no real perks. I still had to stand in the economy check in line, had no access to the lounge and I felt like I was treated like I was scamming the airport staff. So embarrassing. Business class was a wider chair in a plane that forgot to have it's aircon put on. Not OTs fault but still feel I wasted my money. Will not be using again.

DO NOT USE. Paid for 4 pax upgrade. Received confirmation to upgrade day before flight. At check-in was then informed only 1 seat was available for upgrade. Did not receive refund. They do not respond to emails. What a scam. Never again.

I just recently flew from Perth to Phuket on Airasia X. About a week after booking my flights I received an email from Airasia telling me of their partnership with Optiontown and the ESO or flatbed upgrade option. I already had seats and meals so I went for 1whole row option 3 seats on both flights for Kl/Perth. Both times I got it. I was stoked. They sent me an email confirmation 3 days before the flight with the new seat numbers. I still did e check in 14 days before the barcode stays the same the seats are already changed in the system just showed the upgrade confirmation at the gate and they wrote on the boarding pass that I had all three seats. Simple and seamless. Having that extra room made my trip and I will certainly be using it again really good if your travelling with a kid my son slept the whole way nearly so I could relax and watch movies on my tablet. 👍👍😀

They cannot guarantee your upgrade even they confirm it . Do not use , you just waste time with this company

I used this service to upgrade my ticket to business class. I accepted the price that was showed on their web for £210 but when i checked my bank account, they charge me £436 for this upgrade. I contacted them and they said there was a problem with their web at that time and because i used this upgrade so non-refund. Therefore, i needed to go my bank to open a case to investigate this fraud service. Lie to customer, didn't try to resolve it . Terrible , do not use to be honest

This company only charges in USD, but will show you a different price in your local currency, then charge a vastly inflated rate when they convert to USD. Also, they don't refund the entire amount if your upgrade is not successful: they charge a non-rendable membership fee. DO NOT USE!

Attention les upgrades ne donnent pas le droit aux baggages supplementiares...ce qui peut se transformer en une mauvaise surprise a l aeroport! et comme optiontown n'est qu un fournisseur de la compagnie aerienne - impossible de s arranger. Optiontown joint par telephone n a ete d aucun secours...bref cette boite est un scam - a fuire a tout prix!! service client nul...
