As the buyer’s agent, my experience with Offerpad was extremely disappointing. They drastically reduced their offer after inspection, claiming the home needed a moisture barrier due to crawlspace moisture. However, our independent inspection completed beforehand showed no moisture issues at all, and there had been no rain prior to their inspection. When asked for photos or documentation supporting their claims, they could not provide any. After we challenged the reduction with inspection reports, they increased the offer again. Then, just 3 days before closing, they backed out entirely because they allegedly could not find an investor for the property. The process felt inconsistent, lacked transparency, and caused unnecessary stress for all parties involved.

Represented a buyer on a home that Offerpad was selling. The whole process with them was horrendous. Their communication is severely lacking. You get rotated among many of their customer service people throughout the process. They add addendums to the contract that are only in their favor. The home we were under contract for was a hot mess under the hood. They basically put lipstick on it to sell but it needed way too much and we had to terminate. On the sell side, you are going to get the lowest offer for your home. You are better off getting a local agent to put it on the MLS and get the highest exposure and hopefully highest price for your home.

The company provides a fair offer and then proceeds to take 5% commissions. Then they hire a home inspector to exaggerate the problems he finds and reduce another 10%. I have to admit this process is for the desperate that need to get rid of their house.

A bit too common and offensive materials in and around some houses. It is necessary to look into it. Cheers.

After being contacted by them I was amazed at how great their customer service guy was. Their offer was good and then came the inspection. I was assured numerous times that no glitches were going to come up. Then all of a sudden I get a call saying they don't think houses in my area will sell. Houses are selling over asking and over appraisal in my area. I had only agreed to their offer because I didn't want to repairs. Whatever their reason, the one they gave was garbage. I was excited and ready to move. What a huge disappointment. Never again. I do not recommend.

I was not happy with the six percent commission that I had to pay. Especially when Offerpad put my home on the market for 348,950.00 and gave me 248,750.00. I am going to file a complaint and seek council and hope to get reimbursed 3 percent of the commission I paid Offerpad because I didn't hire a realtor.
