I had perchased a replacement motor and it stopped working after three month… I received a 15 percent discount on the next motor. I feel I should have received a better discount after only four months of purchasing. Aside from that Movcan’s service and communication is good.

Got a bike for my son while it was on sale nearly two months before Christmas. We’re now in mid-July, and the bike is still doing great! Never had an issue. Assembling the bike was quite straightforward and not difficult at all. Getting the tires aligned with the inner tubes and inflating them slowly ensuring they’ve grabbed onto the wheel evenly on both sides was the most tedious part. Just took a little extra time. Would definitely recommend.

I'm rating the Movcan Q20 folding ebike a 5 overall. PRE PURCHASE: Before I purchased the Movcan Q20 I contacted Movcan with some questions. I received fairly prompt and honest answers - even one that could have prevented me from becoming a customer. The question was regarding whether the battery is UL certified. Several websites and videos indicated that the battery was UL certified. The Movcan rep informed me that it is not. However, the charger is UL certified and the battery has BMS software that keeps it from overheating. My research revealed that Movcan has been around for 5+ years so they aren't some scam company that will disappear before the order arrives. So, I ordered the bike and it arrived in great shape. Delivery and assembly: As some have noted, the rear tire had come off the rim but holding it in place while slowly adding air solved that issue. The bike assembled without issue but I used a video instead of the paper instruction manual included in the bike. After I assembled the bike, I checked the preassembled parts for loose nuts and bolts. Only the seat bolt needed to be tightened. The bike did not ship with the spring seat post shown in many ads but it did include a tool kit, air pump, spare pair of brake pads, lock, and phone holder. Essentially - everything you need to get the bike ready to ride is in the box. You only need an outlet to charge the battery. Using the bike: This is my first ebike but the Q20 performs as praised in videos. Mine maxed out at 30 MPH and so far the battery life seems to be headed toward the 40 mile estimated range. I'm 6'1" and about 230 lbs. Some said the bike is too small for my height but I was able to adjust it to a comfortable riding position. The display is readable in sunlight but it is also subject to glare at certain angles - as would be any display. The motor is plenty strong for a guy my size but does lack the low speed torque of a geared hub. That means it won't climb a steep hill from a standstill (steep in this case is a 15 foot elevation change in less than 50 feet). It navigated every slope I encountered on the road. Conclusion: The Movcan customer support was good pre-purchase, the delivery was good and the bike arrived without damage, and the use - thus far - has lived up to the positive comments you've seen in the videos. I bought my Q20 on Amazon. I am not a bike tester and Movcan didn't give me anything to review this bike. I did a fair amount of research before buying and I know there are certainly more expensive alternatives out there. I paid about half what I would have paid for a similar Lectric or Heybike online and probably $200 -$300 less than similar lesser known brands of folding, fat tire ebikes that are scattered all over the internet. I even tried to buy one of the scam bikes that pop up for unreal low prices. The build quality of the Q20 was better than I expected and I'm impressed with the features and ride. I'm going to leave out the "for the money" part of that comment because I don't have any experience with more expensive ebikes. Instead, I'll say that at this point I'm glad I didn't pay more for a "better" bike. This one has delivered all I needed.

Customer service on the phone was short and not real helpful. And the website says ships in 2 to 3 days. I understand it’s coming from China, but I got a whole bike in two weeks. I took a month to get a fork and a wheel.

I love my ebike from this company and they answer all of questions. Customer care is very good.

We bought the V60 last year and my son has put hundreds of miles on the bike to date. I made the decision to retrofit the bike with the hydraulic brakes, and the ordering and shipping were perfect. My son also wrecked one of the pedals, which I ordered as well. The pedals came in but were incorrect, so customer service worked with me to verify then immediately sent a new pair. They have been extremely responsive and I’m very happy with the bike and the service.

I have had Movcan v80 since July 2024. It is a great bike it got me to and from and I commute on a daily basis about 20 miles to and from work. I even carried my son in the back when he was younger as it still fit within the 330 lb weight capacity it was great until the motor went about 9 months after purchase so I stopped using it for a while. Then last month I went ahead and purchased a motor from Movcan to replace it and fix it. So Movcan ended up sending me a motor that is based off the 2026 model. So that Motors nine pin connector did not fit my 2024 Movcan V80 because I guess between the 2024 and 2026 v80 there was a manufacturing difference. So some things are bigger than what they were in 2024. Granted, some of the customer service personnel didn't really know how to address my concern and they just kept telling me just force the connection and I'm like, "it does not force connect, it needs a new connection!" and I sent them a video that showed my Movcan V80 and they happened to notice that my display was broken, so they went ahead and sent me a free new controller and a free display! Now with this new controller and display, Bam!! My bike works perfectly! It's back up and running!, and lo and behold with this new display, my bike has bluetooth compatibility!, which means now it can connect with the Movcan app and allows me to lock and unlock the display, to create a theft deterrent. Needless, to say Movcan customer service did not disappoint with making sure that my bike was road ready and giving me above and beyond assistance highly recommend any movcan bike!
