Needed a new scooter
We were looking for a scooter that was a bit more heavy-duty that the one we had - which had also stopped working.
We found that mobility direct had one that we'd seen online, so we stopped in. Not only was the young lady there super helpful on our purchase, she took in our old scooter and got it fixed under our warranty - which we hadn't been able to do on our own.
We don't live in southern Florida, but if you do and you need a mobility scooter, then you need Mobility Scooters Direct. No question about it.

Jazzy Ultralite chair
I purchased the Jazzy Ultralite chair in October, 2025. I had searched You Tube and other mobility device sites for an electric wheelchair. I have used a four wheel scooter for about 10 years. That worked well for me, but I wanted a way to be mobile with a smaller footprint and easier to transport in my cars. I selected the Jazzy chair after trying out several different chairs at local mobility stores. I found the Jazzy ultralight to meet my needs the best. I purchased it from Mobility Scooters Direct. It shipped quickly, and the set-up was easy.
I practiced using it around the house for a while to get used to maneuvering it around. We have taken it on a couple of trips in our car, and it is easy for my wife to lift it in and out. We recently went on a cruise. We flew to the city where the cruise ship sailed from. It was very easy to gate check the chair and have it there from us upon landing. The chair works great in crowded airport terminals. The security check was easy, and I did not have to get out of the chair to be passed through the checkpoint.
The chair has plenty of power reserve for my use. I have never run out of power even with the smaller battery (which you have to have to be able to use airplane transport). I recharge it when it gets a couple of light dots down on the charge meter.
I still use my scooter at large stores like Costco, since I can put a few small things in the basket.
Mobility Direct has been very helpful for me to get Information (especially their YouTube videos). Their pricing is also very good.
All in all, I am very pleased with this product.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your experience. We truly appreciate it.
We’re glad to hear that the Jazzy Ultra Light has been a great fit for your needs and that it has made traveling easier for you. Many customers look for a mobility solution that is compact, lightweight, and easy to transport, so it’s great to hear that it performed well for you at home, in airports, and even on your cruise.
Traveling with a power chair—especially through airports—can sometimes feel intimidating at first, so we're happy to hear the process went smoothly and that the chair handled crowded terminals with ease.
It also means a lot to hear that our YouTube videos helped you during your research process. We work hard to create helpful content so customers can make informed decisions before purchasing.
Thank you again for choosing Mobility Direct. If you ever need assistance, have questions, or need support in the future, our team is always here to help.
Safe travels and enjoy your continued mobility!

I'm not sure who likes this Mobility…
I'm not sure who likes this Mobility Scooter more, Me or my 2 Dogs!! Before getting the Golden GB120 I could only walk my dogs a block and back before my legs would turn to rubber. Now I can walk them miles if I want to and both dogs are loving the outdoor exercise. I haven't done much else on the scooter yet but plan on getting out more. Mobility Direct was easy to work with and very helpful in helping me choose my new Ride! :o)

We love hearing how your Golden GB120 is helping you stay active and enjoy longer outings with your dogs. Getting back outside and doing more of what you love is what mobility should be about, and it’s great to know your new scooter is making that possible.
We’re also glad to hear our team was helpful in guiding you to the right choice. If you ever have questions, want tips, or are ready to explore more ways to use your scooter, we’re always here to help.
Enjoy the rides—and give those dogs an extra walk for us!

Purchased a Golden Buzzaround GB 120…
Purchased a Golden Buzzaround GB 120 for two cruises we had booked.
This scooter preformed badly on the first cruise. Shut down twice, once away from the ship and once in the dining room. Also batteries drains rapidly on more than a few times on the cruise.
Upon returning I informed Mobility Direct and tried to return the scooter before embarking on our second cruise
After many unreturned calls and emails I finally was contacted by their customer service who advised me that there would be a $360 restocking fee for. Returning a defective scooter.
I rate the salesman a 10 and their customer service a 1 at best.
Purchased new batteries for my GoGo elite Traveler for the second cruise and had 0 problems.

Hello,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
We want to clarify a few important points for accuracy and transparency. Once a mobility scooter is purchased and operated, it is considered a used product. As outlined in our clearly stated return policy, used products are subject to a restocking fee if returned, regardless of the reason. This policy is standard in the mobility industry due to the medical and personal-use nature of the equipment.
That said, your Golden Buzzaround GB120 was fully covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. In situations where a product experiences performance concerns, our team works directly with the manufacturer to diagnose and resolve any issues under warranty. When your scooter was returned, our technicians performed a full inspection and evaluation, and no mechanical or battery defects were found. The unit operated within normal manufacturer specifications.
It’s also important to note that lithium battery–powered devices, including mobility scooters, often require a short break-in period and strict adherence to charging guidelines outlined in the user manual. Improper charging habits or environmental factors—such as extended use, terrain, or cruise-specific conditions—can impact battery performance without indicating a defect.
We’re glad to hear you had a positive experience with our sales team, and we regret that your overall experience did not meet expectations. Our goal is always to provide clear policies, reliable products, and responsive support, and we take feedback like this seriously as we continue to improve.
If you have any additional questions or would like further clarification, we encourage you to contact our customer service team directly.
