Don't do it yourself, have some respect for yourself and join a normal bank!! I cry a little bit everytime I have to go into metro bank, I just don't understand why the staff look like they are going to stand in a police line out, and address customers like there 'on the block' ?? They might as well come to work in grey Nike tracksuits.. I'm working hard to change my bank.

Metro Bank its a rubbish bank I never received my wedges on time with then they always making interest with your money then they release your money and when ever I called in customer service they making us like a fool I had a LLOYD'S BANK account last 9 years I never had a issues seens I joined metro Bank omg I am going back to the LLOYD'S bank again I never recommend it open in metro Bank account

Quick to throw you under the bus. This Bank is ruthless after twenty years of business account they withdrew the product and increased the interest costing additional £650 per month, wont listen to any plea. I would avoid opening account with this bank.

Metro bank is roguish and not fit to be a bank in this day and age in the UK. I opened an account with Metro Bank in 2018 because I wanted to use it for my wages since my bank was not granting credit. Money was then transferred to my account for the purpose of purchasing school supplies. Then Metro Bank closed my account and kept my money until I applied for the services of a lawyer to retrieve the funds. Once I got hold of the funds, I was happy and thought that was the end of it, only to apply for credit this year and be told that I have a Cifas marker placed on my profile. I then requested a DSAR and realized the lies placed on my file. Metro Bank is not fit to offer services as a financial institution due to the way its customers are treated. I have researched since I realized the harm that has been done to me, and I have realized this has been done to many people. When I contacted the bank to make a complaint, I was told my complaint would never be upheld without reviewing the issue. I feel the ombudsman should investigate the bank's activities and help me and any other innocent customers in this situation find a solution.

Thank One star too much for this bank ,stuff rude ,I have account in StAlbans branch every time even if you only one customer in branch you have to wait to be served about 30 min and just waiting when stuff finish conversation between each other and with angry face call you like telling you why did you come here ? plus completely rude manager AJ Islam no have idea how to deal with customers,rudest person I have seen in my life , I feel myself in cheap market shop not in bank ,avoid !avoid !avoid ,I erased complain and closing my bank account tomorrow!Wotse bank of UK !

Went to my local branch in Romford today .I explained that I wanted to reinvest my money?,There is a half an hour wait.So I booked in and waited..so now my time has been and gone by twenty minutes. I had wasted one hour of my life.The staff are walking back and forth to a printer and no-one is getting seen.I went up to the desk again"there is another wait of twenty minutes at least."..At this stage my head is thumping. And feeling sick ..Metro what has happened to you? You used to be such a nice place. I feel like going back to withdraw my money and finding another bank.. it's not that there wasn't enough staff as I counted at least 8.If I could rate you a zero I would.Avoid this place

I was in my branch informing them of fraudulent activity, and the withdrawal request was pending they still allowed it to go out from my account. Now, 10 days later, there is no correspondence from the bank and l have not received the money yet. Disabled pensioner left with no money.

Not good…. stuff rude and not helpful at all card is bad u can’t put money from post office u have to go bank and wait 2 hours so u can deposit money what’s a joke if I could give you 0star I will
