MDSave helped me out financially when I needed it the most.

Made a mistake using services here. I asked upon entry east the cost was and did not get an answer and then was charged the discounted rate of $527.00 for a prescription renewal. Had I been given some idea of cost I would not have proceeded and sought help elsewhere. No analysis was actually done— they only listened to my explanation and request for a prescription renewal, brought a doctor to write the prescription which involved really limited time with medical personnel. As a Canadian looking for medical travel assistance, the US system is not clear to us how emergency is different from urgent care vs primary care. We got absolutely no help from management

the email junk I get from this service is not helpful

Saw the reviews and thought to myself there is no way anything related to healthcare in the US has a review score this good. It must be a scam. But somehow it isn't. Found a hospital on their website, called them to confirm they worked with mdsave, had my doctor fax the referral, made my appointment, bought the voucher on mdsave, brought it to my appointment and that was it. Cost 1/3 of what it would have with my insurance. $155 for ultrasound instead of $450. Had to drive a while to get to the hospital partnered with them but it was totally worth it.
