The experience was good overall. However some of the information i was provided about where I was going for surgery was outdated and had the wrong address. Also the provider has still tried to bill me on several occasions after the procedure. The vouchers seem to be confusing to the billing departments. Other than that it all went pretty smooth.

Buying a package for an MRI was easy and significantly more affordable than my high deductible insurance plan. If you tend to be “healthy” and use only primarily preventive services each year (i.e. highly unlikely to reach your deductible regardless), then MD Save will be your best friend. True, the contracted fees do not apply to your deductible, but well worth it if your health care cost are generally low. In my case, rather than having to meet my $6250 deductible all at once for the MRI, I paid just over $900 out of pocket. Very pleased with this option.
