I had no clue that there was this program for patients. If the registration clerk did not tell me about MDsave I would not have been able to afford the Calcium Cardiac CT scan.

It's so easy to order the bloodwork online, to match up the specific tests, and then use the voucher anywhere you like. When I did the cost comparison, it was less expensive to go through MD Save than using my insurance (who would have charged me $25 minimum per test, and more for some of them). In fact, my insurance company could not tell me what they would charge for some of the tests, so I didn't want to be surprised in the end. Also, it's about a third of what my doctor's clinic or the hospital would charge!
