maytag 10 year warranty cover glass cooktop on 3 year old range overheating burning food on low, fire hazzard, this is not caused by normal use , defective ,cheap parts that dont ladt more likely , my previous 2009 maytag lasted 14 years with no service needed, thats why those parts are not included cause they knew they were junk when the built it. the paint is rubbing off and the foor which is glued on is perling away fron the interior door again , it was previously repaired before the one year warranty lapsed

Maytag top load washer Model # MVW6200KW This machine throws all the clothes to one side while filling, puts the drum off-balance. I have to adjust the loads while they are soaking wet to get the cycle to finish. If it manages to wash a load without my intervention, the clothes come out tangled in a ball. Do not recommend. I bought it in 2022.

So. I had a Maytag washer and dryer. I didn't know the age - came with the house. I loved the dryer but the heater stopped working. Instead of spending $$$ to get it fixed, I decided to buy a new dryer. And a washer since I wanted a matched set. The new dryer takes at least 3x longer to dry than the old. It is so thin that closing the door moves the whole machine out of alignment. And for some reason, Maytag decided to redesign the top so that it slopes. Now when I use it, it vibrates and anything on top falls off. Like my detergent. The washer at least has a larger tub. Even though I bought the simplest version, there is no way to rinse and spin without checking the manual to see how. There is however a "casual" cycle which means nothing. It too has a sloped top. I made a huge mistake on this purchase.

I spent $3,351 on a fridge, washer, and dryer scheduled for July 17. No communication before the delivery window, and I had to chase down updates. Delivery was rescheduled multiple times, and the washer/dryer arrived damaged and unstackable due to a missing kit. After several delays and poor communication, I’m still waiting for proper delivery. Disappointed with the lack of transparency and the inconvenience this caused my family.

I purchased a Maytag dryer in July, and by the end of September it was no longer drying adequately - if at all. I purchased it because I wanted to use less energy, but am now having to run my clothes through multiple times. At first, it seemed to be just on the auto-dry setting. However, now neither the auto setting nor the timed dry work effectively. I called once and was told to check my hose and the lint screen. I was also told customer service would send me a "test kit" to see if it was heating. No effort was made to schedule service. I did not receive a test kit within a few days, and it began taking even longer for my clothing to dry so I called again. This time customer service took the issue more seriously and has scheduled a repair person. However, no one is available for a week. If someone had taken me seriously on the first call, perhaps it would be fixed by now. I bought Maytag in part because of its long-time reputation. Buying an appliance that does not work after a couple of months leads me to believe I will look at other brands in the future.

Five years ago I bought a Maytag washer and dryer. The dryer is model MEDB755DW 2. It stopped working 3 weeks ago. The Maytag repairman gave me a repair quote of $650. That's more than I paid for it so I bought a new dryer-- a GE. I've never had a dryer that quit so soon.

I purchased a Maytag top loader HE washer from Lowe's on 3/23/2021. It is absolutely the worst washer I have ever used. My clothes are never clean even though I have tried all of the cycles and various detergents. The water doesn't cover the clothes and it doesn't move them around enough to even get out the simplest kinds of soil. I thought Maytag stood for quality. I am having to soak the clothes in my bath tub and then put them in the washer to rinse and spin. I must get rid of this washer and get another one. I cannot believe Maytag ever washed soiled clothes in this washer before it was put on the market! It is model MVWC565FW

I loved my last Maytag top loading washing machine - it was big, robust, did a great clean. Now unfortunately they have removed all those things that were great about top loaders so now I can't stand it. 1) with the new lid locking mechanism, gone is the ability to throw in that sock you dropped on the floor (you have to wait endlessly for the lock to unlock again even if the cycle has not yet started) 2) the automatic water level sensor means that with bulky or stiff items (eg a door mat) half the item doesn't even get wet, let alone wash. 3) most washes use so little water that the detergent is left staining the clothes, even with the extra rinse option permanently on. 4) It seems unable to wash for long or efficiently enough on any cycle to remove sweat smell from a t-shirt.
