I would strongly advise caution with Big George’s Appliance Mart. The company overpromises and underdelivers in a big way. Once your order is placed and they have your money, you quickly become just a number to them. My initial impression was positive, they have a large selection of appliances and the sales team was knowledgeable. That good first feeling disappears the moment delivery becomes the issue. We paid in full for appliances that were supposedly set aside for us in their warehouse. Instead of delivering what we bought, the company chose to sell those exact items to another customer. Ours were not delivered and the manager and sales associates attempted to rectify the situation by offering us cheaper, lower end items that were in stock. The story I got from everyone I talk to there about the situation was different, and all full of excuses, never attempting to offer a reasonable solution. The front end experience can look impressive, but when it counts, after they’ve taken your money, they fail to honor the sale. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
