The lobsters were good, the one had a large number of barnacles on it - kind of gross and no one in the party wanted it. The guy who bought them had to take one for the team.

I ordered 2-3# lobsters. One was a quite sluggish the other quite lively. The sluggish one has a funky slime/film on the inside of the tail. I put them in the fridge. I also ordered 12 oysters. There was one dead and they were filthy. NOT CLEANED AT ALL. I also ordered 2# of PEI mussels. Not much cleaning needed to be done but at least 9 were dead. I started to cook the shellfish, the sluggish lobster was dead.

Had lobsters and littlenecks shipped to Montana. Received by 1pm, enjoyed an east coast seafood dinner that night. Thanks!

We received an exception report on the delivery of the lobsters. We called Lobsters Online and it was not known if they would arrive that day or the following day. We had invited company over a month ago for the lobsters. We could not expect the lobsters to arrive in time for dinner. As a result we had to inform our company of this and then made other plans and went out to eat instead. Sometime after we left to go out to eat, the lobsters arrived. By the time we got home the lobsters had been delivered - dead or alive I don't know. But by the time we got them they were no good. Not a good experience. Not sure if the lobsters were alive when delivered,but because we had to go out to eat, they didn't make it by the time we got home. Had they been on time, the circumstances would be different and I'm sure we would have had lobsters that evening for everyone. After your reply---- When I called, I was told that there have been MANY exceptions with your carrier. IF you are at there mercy, your company needs to fix this issue. Perhaps a carrier (such as Fedex) that delivers overnight LIVE lobsters in the MORNINGS rather that late afternoon (UPS) may dramatically reduce your shipping issues. As far as you last comment " you understand my frustration and hope I will continue to do business with you" .... When I spend $150.00 and get nothing from it - I'm not sure I'd call that frustration. Lets say... If you experienced the same thing I have ...I'll bet money your first reaction would NOT be that you felt frustrated. You'd feel you had just received extremely poor service. Will I try you again???? - Without changing your carrier --- it would just be .. " fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". Or what incentive are you offering me to get my business back?

Everything arrived on schedule and was as advertised. Lobsters were excellent.

I would give a 5 star rating if it weren't for the fact that one of my 4 lb. lobsters had a seriously cracked dominant claw. The claw stunk to high hell when I cracked it open. It was mostly rotten. I feel that this shouldn't have ever escaped the attention of the person who packed up my lobster. I asked for a reasonable accomodation from the company. They refunded me $25. Maybe I'm biased, but I don't think that $25 is reasonable, as my order was about $160+ (from memory) for the 2, 4 lb. lobsters (including shipping). The claw was huge, but mostly not edible. Otherwise, the lobsters arrived fully alive and sufficiently cold, on time, and overall, the price, including shipping was reasonable as compared to other prices on the net. I hated to give a 3 star review, quite frankly, but you asked for my honest opinion and you got my honest opinion. If not for the bad claw, you would get 5 stars. Bob
