I would recommend this chair to anyone that asks. Durable and portable, it easily fits in my sedan trunk, we love it!

No problem with staff, problem with chair. Controls on chair too sensitive. A very small change on joystick, resulted in very large change in direction or speed. Gave chair away as it was unusable.

Love my KD Smart Chair! It has made life so much easier to navigate. Having Multipule Sclerosis I felt confined to my home. After seeing the KD Smart chair advertisement I had to have one! It was the answer to mobility freedom. No more staying home, I go shopping with friends and my husband and I go all the time now!

KD Smartchair has changed my life! It has brought independence back to me. I can go to the grocery (not my passion; however, necessary) with my husband and he is not wrestling to push me in a manual chair while pulling the shopping cart (yes, I know there are loaner power chairs available...sitting on one after someone had bladder control issues did me in ). The KD SMARTCHAIR has great power and battery life! Love it!

5stars for price and availability to anyone. I purchased the bigger one, but it tended to tip over going up ramps with my 250 lb husband. So only 1 star for that. I could not lift it myself nor push it up ramp into the back of our van for storing while he sat in front seat of van as I had hoped to do. I am 5'3" and would lose control of it on a ramp pushing it and also trying to hold it while taking down a ramp, without him in it. So again 1star. He was unable to transfer off the side if it as instructed, so the foot support was in the way getting up to stand to pivot and transfer, so not great for our needs there either. It did hold the charge well enough. It did get him around in our house until we could finally order a chair really suited to his needs and size. Since nursing home did nothing to provide for his needs when he had to come home, the ability to get this chair was a Godsend. We ended up needing a mobility van for numerous reasons, and the foldability and light weight of this smart chair would not have been a safe option to use in the mobility van. I would recommend it for smaller people, and those who know they can transfer off the side of it, those with use of both arms, not those with stroke who lost use of an arm.

The chair is amazing. The entire process was outstanding. I have referred several dear friends and will continue to do so.
