Chair is wonderful. If you need a motorized chair, I highly recommend it. Wish it were lighter. Getting older it is difficult to lift into the vehicle.

The chair could use a few more storage compartments. Also, there is a slightly uncomfortable reaction time (latency) on the power control. About 1/2 second after a command is given, then movement. Not good when entering elevators.

My 1st KD chair broke down within the FIRST WEEK of use -- the importer sent the wrong batteries and all electrical components including the cpu and joystick controller blew up -- literallly..... The importer sent out a new chair supposedly with the right batteries, and it worked for a while, but it too blew up, requiring the replacement of the cpu and controller....and local labor costs for installation.... The chair is now on its last legs after only 3 years of use, and now the rear tire treads are shredded and their is NO ONE who can repair them in my city.... I AM DISGUSTED NOT ONLY WITH THE FRAGILITY OF THESE CHAIRS, BUT ALSO THE CORRUPT AND DISGUSTING NATURE OF THE IMPORTER/DEALER IN FLORIDA.... WHO SHOULD BE TRIED FOR FRAUD....DON''T BUY THESE CHAIRS!!!!!

A godsend for my wife who can now get out of the house without having to lug a massive motorised wheelchair. Great battery life and speed

I kept getting an excuse for non delivery. Was told that product would ship in 1-2 wks, two or three times. Cancelled order and bought something locally.

The chair would be better with the following improvements: Less sensitive joystick to enable easier steering control. Adaptable adjustable footrest for users with lesser knee flexibility. Height adjustment possibility. Better seating comfort so user can use for longer periods without cramping up. Folding lock and lift up handle for easier vehicle transport.

My wife loves her KD Smart chair. It has plenty of range and speed for different areas. Fairly light and easy to handle. Would recommend this chair.
