Plumbing leaks affect 1 in 12 dwellings every year. Catastrophic leaks often begin as a small, undetected drip. These plumbing failures devastate lives, result in billions in insurance claims annually and can cause long term damage including mold infestation. The FloLogic smart water valve constantly monitors your plumbing system and senses leaks as small as a half-ounce per minute or as significant as a broken pipe, then automatically shuts off your water to prevent water damage. Known as “the circuit breaker for every plumbing system®,” the innovative and patented FloLogic System enables home and business owners to greatly reduce or eliminate the economic and personal loss associated with plumbing failures. The FloLogic System has received numerous awards and accolades, including “Best of What’s New” award by Popular Science magazine and "One of “Top 100 Products” by Building Products magazine. The FloLogic System was featured in "This Old House" magazine “Smaller Safer, Smarter” and featured on “Ask This Old House” television program.

The product is excellent, is easy to use and set-up was easy. The optional check valve mates directly with the valve assembly and is worth the $$. Something went wrong with the shipping with everything loose inside a big box banging around. Luckily nothing was damaged. Whether poor packing or carrier problem is unknown.

Our plumber did a great job installing the system. We had an issue with the water softener bypass device. It failed and caused our water to shut off multiple times. The plumber replaced it and it works fine now. We have some WiFi connectivity issues that cause the system to go dark from the app once in a while. Overall, the app seems to work well and the device is well built.

I like how easy Flologic has been and it's brought some accountability to cleaners that are working on the house when I'm not there. I'm disappointed I can't see how much water has been used over a a day, week or month. I was surprised there was no usage information.

The system works great once installed and getting the app to work. The app could be more simple to activate, but I don't know how. The included comm cable has been shortened since my first system purchase, so had to buy a longer wire at high cost with no credit for new, enclosed one.

seems to work well but setting flow parameters not as easy to understand as I would expect

Seems to do its job but we are still learning the system.

I've had the FloLogic for over 2 years now and am very happy with how it works. However, I would like to see the App upgraded. Specifically, the ability to see historical usage. I know they obtain and track it - because of the "last usage" measurement. I bought the Droplet monitoring (no shut off) device simply to be able to see historical usage. Even if this would require a subscription I'd be ok with it.

They have reached out and helped resolve the issue. Still not the most intuitive app, but I am sure they will make it easier to use. RJ was very patient helping me with my issues and it gives me peace of mind knowing I can control everything from my phone or ipad.
