Only issue is that Flologic thinks there's a leak when I use my power washer.

Hi Jean. Thanks for your review! Just a reminder that FloLogic has a "Bypass" feature. Next time you pressure wash, just push the "Bypass" button and you'll get a default of 2 hours of allowable flow. If you need more time for the Bypass feature, simply increase the time allowance. No problems, great product. A bit expensive to get installed. (But compared to the expense involved due to a major leak...) The only problem is it cuts me off when I water the garden for a good while.

Hi Dan. Thanks for the feedback. Just wanted to be sure you know there is a "Bypass" function that can ignore flow for the programmed amount of time (default is 120 minutes, but can go up to 999 minutes). The Bypass feature is helpful hen you need to use water for an extended amount of time. Give us a call if you need any assistance 877-356-5644.
The product works well and the first time I contacted the company (through email) I was immediately called to try and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, my issue is it works too well. It turns the water off 5-15 times a week. After following all the logical problems it was determined that it is a problem with install -- too close to the water softener -- and so either needs a plumber to add something to the install or it needs to be moved.

Hi Linda. Thanks for the review. Water softeners have extended flow times when they regenerate. To avoid the softener tripping the alarm, the FloLogic can be installed down stream of the softener, or you can install a flow switch that will interface with FloLogic, telling FloLogic to ignore the flow of the softener regeneration cycle. System has worked well over several years. Only issue has been backup battery which gor depleted during a power outage and had to be replaced. Hard finding an exact replacement.

We had a flood in our house, and on recommendation from our insurance company, we purchased this product. Pretty straightforward when talking with the rep (I didn't know I was talking to a reseller, so felt a little bad when I went through the insurance-contracted plumber as I just assumed that was what I was suppose to do.) Anyway, operates as discussed and no issues for the last several months. Only comment is that we never checked with any other product company, so I have no idea as to how it compares to other systems (that's why I took off one star).

Leak detection function works great. The control unit is very sensitive to AC power source input. When the generator is powering the Flologic the control unit signals AC power fail even though voltage is within standard tolerance. When the control unit is powered by a standard UPS the control unit signals AC power fail. Very annoying.

I like this product but it is a little pricy for what you get. With simple tweaks in the technology it really could be wifi enabled with active flow and usage data. It could be more than the "circuit breaker for your home" and it could be a whole house water monitoring system. GPD, multiple settings for shut off- example being slow drip over a long period or a sudden high gpm flow.
