Most of the bike was already assembled and the rest just took about 20 minutes to put together completely. Shipping was super fast and it rides great. My son enjoys it as well, so will probably get him the same one. Thanks

Not only are they of questionable initial quality, they have many problems. We purchased two of these for our daughters. One had a battery failure, one had a ecu failure, then the first one had it's ecu failure. The whole time, both of them struggled with brakes that need CONSTANT adjustment - think every ride levels of constant. Then it got worse - the brakes started randomly failing when squeezed. Not needs adjustment, but actual failure. They would do nothing. We didnt realize this until the accidents happened. As I said, both bikes have been in bad accidents. One injured the two girls on the bike so badly one of them needed to go to the emergency room with a broken arm and massive cuts and scrapes. The second accident sprained an ankle and ended up with stitches. Both times the brakes failed to work on a hill. The first accident effectively totaled the bike bending the forks and ripping the seats. The 2nd my younger daughter (12) is too terrified to even ride it. I've spent more time fixing, adjusting, and working on these bikes than any other bike I've ever owned. They're dangerous, they're low quality, and they're absolutely not worth risking your loved ones.

Both brakes were rubbing bad and needed adjustment. Needs rear suspension. The horn should be electric. The stock bell is useless. Had a few scratches where there was no protective padding. The seat isn't very comfortable. Never received the free phone holder.
