As other customers mentioned here, their customer service is very poor and they do not fulfill their warranty commitments. Expensive products with no support and warranty!

I'm so disappointed. The tools are fantastic and work so well, but I always feel, the measure of a good company is the quality of its support and Ego support in the UK is non existent. A handle for my multitool has snapped. For four months now I've been trying to find a way to resolve this and it's impossible. It's made me exceptionally wary about buying any more Ego tools

When it breaks, getting the company to honor their warranty is nearly impossible. They hang up on me when I call!

Bought an EGO single stage snow thrower after buying Greenworks 2 stage blower that was dead out of the box and their customer service left me with a blower that doesn't work. Finally got to use this today. It powered through 4 inches of wet snow no problem. Cleared a 6 car driveway in about 20 minutes.

Not helpful Snowblower batteries are broken after 1 year . I'm still waiting they send me new batteries

I'm shocked by the reviews on this page. I've used the Ego Leaf Blower for 6 years, and just got an Ego Lawn Mower 9 months ago. Last week I ordered the Ego Trimmer (hasn't arrived yet). The new charger and battery are impressive, it charges up almost completely in an hour and lasts longer then that. Only downside is it is really heavy, so I got a strap for the leaf blower. I have 2 chargers and 4 batteries now. I still have the first battery from 6 years ago which I still use. The best parts about this brand is 1. The noise is less than half of gas equipment 2. The ease of use 3. The lack of smell and 4. The power is comparable. Though on the multi-head tool I got for the weed trimming I did get the commercial grade to ensure its max power. The lawn mower has mulching, bagging and regular cutting blades. The leaf blower is the most powerful battery powered leaf blower I could find at the time. Ego is legit the best yard equipment company I've used with cool innovative products. Looking over the bad reviews on this page it seems people have issues with the battery life - so I'll explain more about that. My 6 year old battery is still working, as all of them are. I used to plug it in when done, and leave it on the charger for a week until I used it again. That is NOT ideal. But it worked fine for me. The best thing you can do is plug it in when done, then whenever its fully charged, take the battery off the charger. To be even more careful, unplug the actual charger when not in use. This is the recommended way to maximize battery and charger life according to Ego.

My battery charger went bust after a resasonable short time. Instead of offering me a replacement they were rude and told me to buy a new charger. Ridicolous bad customer service.

We purchased all new equipment when we retired and couldn’t do gas powered anymore due to our health. Unfortunately we decided to buy ego weedwacker, leaf blowers, and snow thrower. Our main issues are the batteries don’t last and are extremely expensive. We called customer service the first time and frankly they stink at it!! A company that doesn’t stand by their products shouldn’t be in business!!! Don’t buy Ego and save yourself tons of money and headaches!!!!
