We've been banking with USAA for a number of years. Getting access to larger sums of cash (> $1K+) has always been a challenge since USAA doesn't have local branches. My niece was buying her first car and needed a few thousand $$ in cash. She called around and DFCU stated they could help. We walked into the local branch here in Mesa close to our home, and they were very friendly and helped her right away. As I was sitting there, I decided to open an account for the convenience of having a local bank. Took care of it within just a few mins through the app on my phone. Nice to have a local CU I can rely on.

Before I opened my account, talked with the tellers very friendly n seemed very nice..but what I liked best is I can use the ATM n do banking, such as deposit money or take out money from my credit union in Wa state without charging me a fee...very convenient n then a very friendly staff that is more than happy to help..

Welcome to Desert Financial, Lisa!
When I enter the bank, a banker approached me and asked if I needed any help /info. He invited me to his desk and was very friendly and professional. I told him what I was looking to do with my money and he offered me multiple options. Through out the entire time he was very polite. I ended up opening checking and savings accounts and looking to use other offerings in near future. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.

My full name could not appear on my debit card due to character limitation however never had that happen in all of my credit card and banking experience.
