I put the ad up and had several good quality responses within 24 hours. I hired one of them. I consider Care.com a valuable resource. Two thumbs up 👍👍.

They are expensive and a pain to cancel. If you forget they automatically renew it. Their customer service is very bad. My biggest complaint is that I hired someone then received notice Care had removed them from the community—in other words, their profile was removed. I cannot find out if it’s because of criminal activity or failure to abide rules when posting or messaging. The person this involves apparently can’t find out either. That should be illegal. Update: I contacted Care at the email below that was given in response to my review. No help or insight was given. The caregiver in question still does not know reasons and has started an appeal.
