Our installer commented that our hardware made the install the easiest of the several he had done I wanted to be sure that hw could support a heavy door. It does and it looks great.

Great to hear! Our hardware is very heavy duty without looking to chunky and overwhelming. Thanks so much for the review and for being our customer. Hope you enjoy the hardware/door for years to come.

Very good quality product, however, installation instructions are only good to follow if you buy the door from Artisan Hardware. If you are using your own door, do not follow these instructions otherwise you will drill holes in the wrong place in your door ( take it from me). Instructions should include a caution at the top about using your own door. I was also sent spacers that didn't fit over the lag bolts, according to Artisan staff, they got a bad batch, but they immediately sent me replacements. The bolts which attach the wheels onto the door seemed a bit long and stuck out the backside of my door, a little close to the wall and actually hit the trim around the door ( this was a retrofit over an existing doorway) so I had to cut about a half inch off each of 4 bolts, cutting them flush with the hanger hardware on the backside of the door. The staff was very accommodating and top notch, but if you are replacing an existing door with a barn door, ignore the instructions, and unfortunately, you will have to "wing-it".

DeWayne, We appreciate the feedback and will definitely take it into review as we work to improve our products and instructions. Glad to hear the problem with the spacers was taken care of. We apologize for the issue on that. Again, thanks for bringing this all to our attention.
