The first crew that moved our furniture from our home to storage were fabulous, very polite, efficient and attentive. The second crew that moved our furniture from storage to our new house we’re just okay.

Hi Michelle, Thank you for the review, we will aim next time for the 5 stars!
After having a horrible moving experience in metro Atlanta several years ago, you could only imagine the apprehension trying to find another reputable mover. To my surprise, the staff and movers from Zip exceeded my expectations. The communication was timely and professional once David answered my inquiry. He set me up with an easy to manage online portal account, explained my options, and gave a fair cost. He and his associates even checked in before the move. I highly recommend the partial pack if you are going to pack most of your property yourself. Alex and his moving crew were top notch. The took great care with our property, didn't cause any damage (moving in or out) and were efficient. His team busted their backsides as they worked late into the the night. You'll be in good hands if you get his crew.

This was one of the finest moves we have ever had! The team was truly exceptional and the hardest working group we have ever seen. Highly recommend Zip!

Dear Luiz, Thank you for those kind words! We appreciate you choosing Zip Moving and Storage and thank you for your business.
My experience with Zip Moving was amazing. I was extremely anxious going into this move and it was such a relief to not have to worry about moving all of my stuff. I had called at least 4 local moving companies to compare prices and even though Zip was a tad more expensive, Alex's excellent customer service brought them to the top of my list. After thinking about it, I think Zip wasn't actually more expensive overall, just more honest up front about the quote. Peter then took over as our coordinator and was so great to work with. He was very communicative and made sure everything was in order leading up to the move making it a seamless process. I wish I caught the mover's names but I was SO impressed. They arrived on time to the minute and were very careful to wear masks from start to finish. They were almost unbelievably efficient (I think I told them this about 10 times...) and even wrapped up well before the low side of the time estimate. They took excellent care of my belongings. Would absolutely recommend!

Dear Cecily, We take pride in knowing our customers are happy with our service. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us this great review.
At first they seemed like a good company, but I should have noticed the red flags - the biggest one, their refusal to do an onsite estimate. They "packed" and moved our 3/2 with 3 guys in one day. It took them 13 hours and halfway through the day they were just throwing things around and shoving stuff in boxes. After 9 hours they had me sign a revised estimate for $900 more than the original, which I agreed to. Then at 10pm when I had left to put my kids to bed, they pulled up a second truck and packed up an entire shed full of things I told them not to pack. They also packed floor mats we wrote "do not pack" on and our fire alarm, literal trash, and old shelf liners, to name a few other things. Then, after they left they sent me an invoice for double the price. When I requested the estimate I signed, they gave me one where they changed all the numbers after I signed - then told me I had signed that. Aside from breaking a bunch of stuff, throwing around our belongings like they were junk and extorting us for $10,000 (not delivering until we agreed to pay twice the original price) - it was unpleasant to be yelled at by the "owner" about it being normal business practice to alter signed documents and not inform their customers. There were a multitude of other issues, but there is a limit to the amount I can add here. Bottom line, AVOID THIS COMPANY!

We're very sorry for the atypical moving experience you describe. We're also sorry if there has been any misunderstanding - you did not have an onsite estimate because of the COVID-19, unfortunately, we do not send agents for in-home inspection, we offered you an alternative- virtual survey but you refused that. Ultimately, we are very sorry you were left feeling this way. We go out of our way to be transparent with our clients about everything, but especially when it comes to cost. No one likes to be surprised, particularly on moving day. Our confirmation emails detail clearly the prices we will charge for everything and if we make a mistake, we try to make it right. We've left you numerous voice messages and followed up with texts and emails asking that you please set aside a few brief minutes to speak with us, but you have not been motivated to do so. Our door absolutely remains open, but we want to make sure we're leaving you whole, not merely reluctantly satisfied. We're a little old fashioned, so you'll forgive us--we still like to talk to our clients personally, to interact as human beings and not simply as part of a faceless company. It's absolutely your right to refuse, but today is the last time we will reach out to you as the last thing we wish to do is bother you. We truly wish there was something we could do to satisfy you. If we had done something wrong we would absolutely do our best to make it right. We believe we've acted in good faith and while we feel your accusations are unjust, we respect your right to your opinion.
We had an amazing experience using Zip moving! The team was prompt, professional, and went above and beyond to make the moving experience as easy and seamless as possible. From the easy appointment process to moving day Zip was the best moving company I have ever used. Will be using again in the future!
