WordfenceReviews of wordfence.com

Excellente extension pour sécuriser un site d'autant plus que le support est réactif et sympathique. Dommage qu'une version en français n'est pas encore disponible. Autrement tout est p sa parfaite

We upgraded after I saw admin accounts that didn't belong to us were present for 2 weeks. The person assigned didn't realize we already had wordfence basic around $90/year and had upgraded to about $490/year. Not a great start. Then they get all our info, which was far too much info to be giving them for what they do, a wordpress security plugin. After correcting their employee two more times they came back and said they would refund me and not fix it unless I deleted things our server requires for certain plugins to run. I knew already they weren't infected and also knew that these things were beyond the scope of what wordfence is. These are core services and standalone scripts not even in a web directory at all. The employee argued with me and then their manager put me down and implied I didn't know the basics of permissions which hadn't even come up before. They offered to refund me again and I pressed saying they needed to find and fix the actual infection. To which they ghosted me and now I'm doing a charge back. I went with Malcare, who I can see is gaining market share from them. In less than 12 hours they found two vulnerable modules and one of them was hacked. I upgraded the modules. I was in contact with about 5 people for diff issues and all were prompt and they got me setup so fast and back on track. They do their job. By the way they never tried to get me to delete our shipping service and I get daily updates on their scans. Malcare is cheaper, their support isn't rude and knows what they're doing, and their plugin actually found and fixed a hack Wordfence went 2 weeks with nothing and I found we were hacked myself due to new user accounts that shouldn't exist. In short, Wordfence seems to only care if you fit into their majority audience of making you feel safe if you have a server with only wordpress and nothing else on it. If you dare to have an actual business and server they will try to pawn off any excuse they can to say it isn't their fault. And then they will be rude to you and ghost your refund request. Don't buy Wordfence at best it's a feel good blanket that does nothing when the rain comes.

My site encountered an attack, I was able to reach out to wordfence who were able to securely grab all my details, review and understand the issue and resolve it with very little interaction required from me. They know their job and get stuff done. The audit report was a great snapshot of where things are strong and where improvement is required. Fantastic experience.

I can't really say much about their security since I know little about that fields. That said, they appear to block a lot of mischief and I have had zero issues with security with WordFence installed. I can tell great support when I get it however and WordFence is one of the few support teams that I am glad to give five stars. My support needs have been fairly simple, but they have handled them quickly and professionally. Their response times seem instantaneous in comparison to most WordPress related companies. Five + stars if it was an option.

Wordfence support was very professional and reassuring. I have few tech skills and they were great.

I have used Wordfence for many years both the free version and the premium, It was only after about 5 years i needed to talk to support when i had a problem on one of my site. Adam G was really helpful and although it was difficult to find the error he never stopped until all was working again. I cannot recommend them enough.

Wordfence is an essential security system for our online communities. The software has a wide range of complex tasks that it can perform, giving us a lot of data and tools to customize our sites and monitor activity. Wordfence agents bring a superior level of expertise to the work. They are excellent communicators, hard-working, and proactive. Impressive.

Quick response and helpfull - thanks!
