Vrbo is a vacation rental platform for booking entire homes, and only entire homes. No shared spaces. No shared hosts. Just one place for you and your group to stay together. Founded in 1995, Vrbo now offers more than 2 million vacation rentals across 190+ countries. From beach houses and cabins to condos and city apartments, Vrbo helps travelers find the right space for trips where privacy, comfort, and connection matter most. What is Vrbo?Vrbo is focused exclusively on entire-home stays, so you book the whole place to yourselves, not a shared room, shared space, or host-occupied home. That matters for travelers who want more privacy, more room, and one home base for family vacations, reunions, and group travel. Vrbo started as Vacation Rentals By Owner and still focuses on helping travelers book entire homes for trips that are better together. Why travelers choose Vrbo Not every trip is best served by a hotel room or a stay with shared spaces. Vrbo is for travelers who want an entire home where they can stay together more comfortably. With a Vrbo vacation rental, travelers can: * stay together under one roof * enjoy privacy with no shared spaces * cook, relax, and connect comfortably * choose a home that fits the way their group wants to travel * spend less time coordinating separate rooms and more time being together That focus is what makes Vrbo different. Unlike platforms that mix shared and private stays, Vrbo is centered on entire homes only. For families and groups, that can mean more privacy, fewer compromises, and more time together. How does Vrbo work?Booking on Vrbo is simple: 1. Search where and when you want to travel 2. Compare vacation rentals, prices, amenities, and reviews 3. Book the entire home that fits your trip Vrbo makes booking feel straightforward, so travelers can spend less time second-guessing and more time looking forward to the trip. Book with confidenceVrbo helps travelers book with confidence through clearer information upfront. Listi

Unable to clear the recent search to reset the reservation after the owner changed the payment option. Tried everything, including clearing Cache and Cookies on the browser, closing VRBO app, turning off cell phone. Had to do it on a separate ipad to be able to start the reservation process again and show the different payment option set by owners. Just a FWI. Cheers

Booking was easy to make but totally misrepresented. Very disappointed in the condition of the house There were safety issues and disgusting conditions To numerous to list After we checked in I received an email that stated they were no longer being listed on VRBO I have sent a list of concerns to both the owner and the lister but don’t expect much as it is not being listed with them any more Don’t think I will be booking with VRBO again One good thing was the view was nice

The room we had in the Pacific Shores was not clean: frig door had food in handle; there was left over ice cream container in the freezer; there was popcorn under the bed. The elevator floors were quite dirty. As well there was quite a bit of noise during the night.

As I mentioned in my previous email I am still not sure why I got charged for an extra person. Looking at the advertisement for the suite it says that the suite is beloved by couples. I could not find anywhere that said that the suite was only for one person? The explanation that I got was that the extra charge was because there was more laundry involved? I was also told by the host that I should contact VRBO directly and VRBO said I should contact the host? Seems like no one wants to take responsibility? I would really like this dubious charge to be reversed. I have used VRBO many times over the years but will be very reluctant to use them again?

Apartment was not great. Carpet was filthy. Give more towels. Loud train or streetcar noises. Locations switched, twice. Irritating. Will not use VRBO again if I can avoid it.

I could not not get the site to accept my card and I had checked with bank and nothing was wrong with card or bank. I contacted vrbo by phone and they couldn't figure it out. Ive not had a problem with vrbo before.

Our stay was okay. Great location. But we found multiple hairs in the bed, on the floor and in the clean towels. Also noticed centipede like bugs in the room, and had to kill two of them. The lady who was on housekeeping was cleaning our room, around 3:30 on Sunday and she told us we needed to wait for her to finish, we explained we had a wedding to attend and needed to get ready, she said “fine” and said she would come back. Once we were ready we apologized to her again, and she didn’t really acknowledge us. Wasn’t a very hospitable experience from housekeeping. It was O.K place to sleep for the weekend, but I would stay elsewhere in the future.

Paid too much money for the booking, was listed as fishing heaven, but water was full of weeds. Had problems walking up and down the hill to unpack and then to pack car on leaving
